Glad you have a diagnosis and some pain killers but as for the cashews :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh s0d that! I'd have her down on my adoption list before you could say "give my cat back!" lol! One of mine is a long-haired sort of tabby-ish-thing and he's mad, from the long-haired cats I've met before, I'm sure there's something in their lh genes that make them so daft and easy going, I wouldn't hesistate to get another longhaired cat!
OK I can't take the cuteness now, tooooo sweeeeeeeeeet!
She had been promised a new home 3 times and the people had backed out, how can they do that? I don't get how anyone can go to an adoption centre without knowing they will take one. I was shown Treacle and they left me with her about 10 minutes then the girl tentatively asked me"what do you think?"...um sold!!
She took her "long stayer" sign down and replaced it with an "I'm happy because I've been adopted" sign faster than lightening, I still have the sign, it's so sweet!
I wouldn't have cared what colour she was and as for the long hair she grooms herself with no help from me and she's gorgeous!:DLearn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

In no way did i mean any offence to cat owners as i myself know how it feels to lose a pet and had to apologies to the owners that where affected.
I think it was the "that's nature" comment that made it seem like you weren't bothered, on reflection you're a more responsible owner than I gave you credit for, so my apologies for thatNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

TBH it's never difficult really, cats choose you, it's that simple.
Re grooming, mine HATES being combed/brushed and finds me trying very traumatic since his sight started going (plus he wriggles too much) so I just leave him alone and take him to the groomers for a clipping if he gets too tangled/matted. My groomer is fab, I've no idea how she does it, she must have a magic touch! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Lol they do , they're not stupid!!;) Treacle hardly ever gets tangles but if she does she just yanks them out:eek: and chucks them on the floor, doesn't like being brushed either.
It's quiet on here this afternoon - guess they are all whoopsie-ing , I'm not bothering today can't face the hordes of shoppers...Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
