Re Pantene. Shampoo goes through at £2 in my extra. The "smoothing" conditioner goes through at 50p and the "volume" conditioner" at 59p.
SELs show £2 but they appear to be barcoded for a different product.
    Awaiting a new sig

  • Just popped on the wish you all a very Happy New Year:beer:
Spent most of today nursing a severe hangover as DH treated me to a rare night out last night. We don't go out NYE as I can't be bothered all the pushing and shoving to get to the bar and being nice to people I really don't like:p. Wondering whether to crack open a bottle of wine to either kill or cure me. Off for a shower and into snuggly jammies first though, then catch up on what Ive missed on here. Have a great night everyone xx

Evening everyone - I've been slowly catching up and find I have to add to some of the subjects raised

Firstly, about donations, mainly to RSPCA - I make a point of not supporting this charity as it does destroy animals it can't find homes for. I do however support our local pet rescue which is based at the kennels we use to board our 3 at. They lost council funding in April this year, due to the cuts, and struggle along regardless. We sold items at car boots for them raising just under £200 earlier in the year but regularly drop in bedding, towels, dog/cat food from glitches and other pet items we find. It is good to see the money you raise/donate and the items/food you give being used directly on the animals themselves. In fact all money donated is paid directly to their vet account as this is their greatest expense. I agree that it is wrong that our donated money goes to pay wages for fundraisers or to pay very high wages of the top people

Secondly, we have already had rescued dogs - except for our middle dog now who we had from a pup from a friend in exchange for some work Mr 3Dogs did for them. These dogs deserve a second chance at life with loving families. Our eldest, who we got from Wood Green Godmanchester on 2000, was on her 'last chance' having been out twice before and I can honestly say that she turned out the best dog we have ever had :D

On the subject of the problem laast night, which I think has now been explained, I have been on both ends of this. We had to make the decision to have a dog put down after he got too agressive with some people, though I could do anything with him. I could not have lived with myself if I'd been forced to have him destroyed if he bit a child :( Then I had a dog, a tiny black hairy boy, killed by an English Bull Terrier running wild, when I had him, and our eldest, on their leads just outside of our house. The dog who killed him was not destroyed and was claimed by it's owner with no consequences from the dog pound  so I have definitely seen this side too. And out latest rescue is showing aggression which we find hard to deal with and we are currently deciding what to do about him - we've had him for 2 years now and he is a right softy normally, but does have another side to him - he was rescued at about 5 months old by a friend off the street in a storm and the dog warden reckoned he was a gypsy dog so who knows his history :(

So all this talk has dragged me down today which is why it took so long to catch up :(:(
