    :)

My sisters 15 yr old daughter wants to go a NYE party at a friend of a friends house about 40 miles away. Staying the night.
My sister does trust her but wants to talk to the parents of person hosting the party to confirm details. But no answer on No. she's been given.
So she has decided to drive daughter & friends to party so she can assess. If not happy she will bring them straight home again

I suggested she book a hotel room nearby & spy ;)

    She's in knots

Well done on the haul Purdita. Didn't quote the pics as I'm about to head out the door and have bookmarked the current page to surf while out (not using Ts free wi-fi so they can spot me coming!). If you'r freezer is big enoug I say go for it. I'm guessing you won't be out whoopsieing (is that a word?) for a while after all that so 6 of one half a dozen whether you get it in one haul or across lots of little hauls.
I support Assisi, a local animal rescue charity in Conlig near Bangor NI. We go to all their open days and send money or donate a lot of the reduced stuff we find. They do a fantastic job and everything goes to the animals so happy enough to support them

We rescued a dog from there a few years back but unfortunatley due to conflicting messages from the ex (allowed on the settee, not allowed on the settee, come over for a cuddle, go away and stop pestering me etc etc) plus a couple of boots to the backside and the poor dog was going to take out his temper on the kids so we had to return him. I know he's gone to a loving home and wasn't back in Assisi too long before he was rehomed but I still well up thinking about him and still have his pics on the fridge.

Right I've had my kip which was obviously needed. I've had a cuppa - 100% needed. Ready to hit the shops now. May bump into some of the yokels depending if there's any decent glitches

Thank goodness you sorted it out:) told you hot ,red foot always put the fear of god up me after my mum.

We know you were'nt having a pop;)If you saw how they are in one of my T's you'd be in hysterics. It's totally survival of the fittest and in one last night I just walked away and left them to it. Otherwise my elbows would have been tempted to do the talking:rotfl::rotfl:But where I get most of my whoopsies they are really posh and are not even interested in whoopsies, love it in there:)

LMAO I've 'moved stores' for quite a few of my whoopsies as its far more civilised in there.

My local has just one troublesome family. The lady who wears a burkha swears and cusses at everyone and uses the whole family to surround the reduced section! When the fruit and veg comes out the big green trays literally go flying and fall about it the aisles.

I have more self respect than to get involved fighting over a few cheap spuds and often say so VERY loudly when the managers arein earshot. It can't be long till she and her family get banned.

Fortunately she doesn't hang around for the meat reductions so thats all very civilised and all the regulars share things out nicely.

Talking of which, I can hear a couple of tesco's calling me right now........... byeeeee

It is a word,it's in my dictionary. It means "to get a ridiculous bargain (at least 80%) discount and beat T at it's own game" ... honestly!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This is my latest lost boy. Turned up last Easter - had made the bin shed his hidden home. Took us a few months to eventually get near enough to trap him & get him neutered & MOTed. His life changed & he moved himself into house & is a very very loving happy cat now :D

I think this morning I spend too much time & petrol getting my haul.
I've learnt my lesson not to go bargain hunting on a Saturday morning. 3 Stores visited, but I was out over 4 hours & got stuck in loads of traffic.

I'm out this afternoon/evening so I can't go back, but the stores I went to had so much reduced to clear stuff at only 25% off. If they reduce it more later someone could fill 2 chest freezers .....am I jealous, YES! :D

My haul was 7 jewel air fresheners, 7 sponges, 9 iron pads, 5 packs of splendida, 20ish veggie crisps, 20ish mini andrex.

Whoopsies - 3 x mini gu cheesecakes 89p (from 2.19), bag of salad 38p (from 1.50), 1/2 price Nectarines 80p (from 1.59), 4 packs of lamb steaks reduced to £3 each, but after multi-buy £2 each (from £4 each)
