Always do this with the car as once even when I did have the insurance the car hire company tried to do me for damage even though I told them I'd photo'd the car and even photo'd the guy I gave the keys to holding that days paper a la proof of life photos :rotfl:
There wasn't a scratch on it and the guy signed and dated my car hire agreement stating this so I knew they were trying to do me. Also when I got the docs from the insurance company the licence plate was wrong and could prove the plate number because I'd taken a load of photos with the car in the background so whoever claimed for the damage wasn't too happy that he got caught outbut the insurace company were great at sorting it out quickly and was told it was fantastic that I'd the photo evidence about the details of the car

Ok I caved in
& got the Panasonic 3 phone SEL £39.99 OOD
got charged £84.99
Went to CS - SA went off & bought back SEL - meanwhile I had time to read the 'Policy'
She gave me £45 - I asked if the policy applies.
No it doesn't apply to OOD SELS.
No Duty Manager was available - could I call in again if I wanted to take further?
Came home (slowly...) rang CS who told me the same DTD does not apply to OOD SELs
