    :o STOP ME NOW! :o

My Christmas Wrapping sets from Littlewoods have just arrived - fabulous box of paper, bags, tags, stick on rosette thingies for £2 a box.
Just spent 15 minutes wrestling all the Christmas wrapping stuff into a larger box :o I MUST NOT BUY ANYMORE (for at least 10 years)

And Christmas cards  I have boxes & boxes of them. Some have 'recycle by 2006' on the back :o can't help buying them :rotfl:

How much were the napkins, please? Think I've seen them in one of the stores I go to, just wondering if they end up cheaper than the usual value napkins I buy. Well done on managing the pictures!

The Tesco finest rump steak had a sel of £14 odd a kilo less £3 kilo special offer . The packs on the shelf were all £14 odd a kilo so dtd of £3 kilo =£8 DTD per kilo . The pork shoulder has a sel saying was £5.49 special £3 off per kilo but lots of packs without the reduced price on them , so with DTD makes it free . The same with the lamb . All prices are approx . as my memory is not so good.:D
Never pay more than you have too
  • Well my house is a mess and the kids are asking to go on a Tesco mission :rotfl::rotfl: They crack me up, they're just as addicted as I am

Pantene OP... are they 200ml bottles? I need to stock up on conditioner so I might be tempted to pop out for some of those :D

Or I could stay home and try to figure out these DTD phones. They look tricksy - and seriously, who needs 4 phones? Leaving 2 in the cupboard for spares, or might put one in the loo - everyone seems to wait til I'm in the loo to phone, so it could be handy :rotfl:

The conditioner is 200ml and the shampoo is 250ml.
  • OK clever pie ladies... going to make my first pie with last night's leftover chicken.

So, a couple of questions if I may:

Should I put pastry on the bottom as well or just make a lid?

I'm using chicken, condensed soup and maybe a handful of sweetcorn - does it all need to be heated up first or will it heat through in the time it takes the pastry to cook?

Should I brush the pastry with egg or something?

Does 30-ish minutes at 180 degrees seem about right?

    Many thanks.
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
