I did - and it worked for me.

Its horrid stuff, like drinking slime - but a few hours later and whoosh!

I don't think anything works. I tried everything with DS - pineapple, raspberry leaf tea, bouncing ball, curry etc and a sweep and had to be induced at 10 days over. This time I didn't try anything but had 2 sweeps and DD came 6 days late. I was dreading induction too this time!

Haha, I remember being overdue, you deffo can't reach! lol And in fact thats a good sign, it should mean that baby's head is down and that your cervix has moved to the right position to facilitate birth.

I can say that having sex definitely works though, even my sis-in-law confirmed that when she was pregnant it worked for her.

thanks sunshine, I've been banned from the hospital because my cousin knows I'll make a scene if they tried this carp when I'm around:rotfl: but she's happy being waited on hand and foot by the whole family, she finds bed rest a pain in the bum though!
she made it out and about on xmas day just to get fed by the whole family, she had a little bit of dinner in each house then had the cheek to go home and polish off the dinner my aunt had made.
She's another appointment tomorrow or thursday just to keep an eye on things and it always cheers us all up to see how much the wee fattie has grown:)
