I had a 'sweep' for my third... midwife basically gives it a prod with a finger (sorry, know that is TMI) - but it worked a treat. Painless and simple. Maybe worth a go??
Good luck!!!0 -

feeling for you sunshine sending love and hugs, hoping you'll have your little one soon.
we're having it the other way around, my youngest cousin (18) is trying desperatly to keep hers in, he's not due until 30 Jan but she went into early labour 4 weeks ago, was kept in, given steroids and other injections to stop labour then they sent her home after 5 days saying that there was nothing they could do for her for another week!
Her pains started again on xmas eve, coming every hour but hospital again told her to go home this time because they didn't have an incubator available!! but if pains were 10 mins apart to go straight back, we all thought we'd have 1 extra for xmas
Thankfully he's decided to stay put for the moment but who knows when he'll arrive all we know is that he's over 6lb at the moment and his lungs are looking greatSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

I'm amazed at French Knickers haul, it's totally amazing - well done.
I'm just back from Mr T and thought I'd be lucky as the car demisters were priced at 25p but someone mentioned yesterday that they now scanned at £1. I bought the last 8 on the shelf hoping for DTD but unfortunately they scanned at 25p - we're now set up with demisters for several years as I had purchased a few last week. I had the SA in the clothes department price check some out of date SEL on phones, hair straighteners and a hairdryer but they all scanned as per the SEL or cheaper. I wish my store had a scanner as it would make shopping for glitches much easier. On the plus side I did buy a couple of the Mary Berry cup cake mixes which are now only £1 each.0 -
as for baths- had all 3 in the bath and highly recommend it! Comfy and whether you are at home or at the hospital, they will oblige. They keep it at a nice 104º. Just make sure you have a warm dressing gown for after- I remember getting pretty cold then.0

Thanks to OP PaulMolly on Grabbit for this one - might be a bit pricey for us lot but worth keeping an eye on maybe?

aww fingers crossed for you and mummy to be...
try not to worry too much - if she doesn have him now - he wil be fine.
and if they tell her to go home coz no incubators available - tell them to F Off- its just a stupid excuse... there is always spare incubators... ALWAYS. its one thing hospitals cannot have shortages of. xProud Mummy to a new little girl - Phoebe... born 11 days overdue on 3rd Jan 2012.0 -
