    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Kids aren't brought up these days, they are dragged up. They don't respect their elders, they have attitude problems etc etc and whenever I see a bad behaved kid I always think "if I had kids I would bring it up how I was brought up - properly" but I don't have the patience for kids and I wouldn't want anything to do with anyone else's. Farts are like children, you can tolerate your own, but anyone else's.....

    Oh I don't know, I was brought up not dragged up, I was still a disrespectful, misbehaving brat!

    There are far too many variables where raising children is concerned, very few people go wrong because they can't be bothered, mostly it's because everyone goes into parenting completely blind and just learn as they go along, doing the best they can. I see some mums in supermarkets and am in awe of how they're not just leaving said screaming brat in the trolley and legging it outside to the car for a break!

    I always think raising a child has to be the most impossible job in the entire world and I'm far too selfish to want to sacrifice my freedom/money/holidays etc! :rotfl:

  • Meekatsdad has a very short hairdo too :o

    I have friends who are doing a parachute jump in June (I think) and they are starting to raise money, but £200+ each (so £2k of their overall donations) of whatever they raise goes to the jump company before the charity even start getting anything. I had hoped to compete in a run/bikeathon but with dd2 due in Feb I'm not confident I'll get my !!! into shape on time to do anything worthwhile. :A

    I had been thinking of shaving my hair all off on the anniversary of her passing to raise funds with all donations going to the charity, or to a respite fund for families...scared that it'll grow back grey and frizzy but as I'm not big on 'looking after myself' there is always hair dye :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Mr 3Dogs shaved his head when a friend of ours from the car boots was diagnosed with cancer and was to undergo chemo and thus lose her hair, to make her feel better about it. After one chemo, they said she wouldn't have any more, so she didn't lose her hair, but Mr 3Dogs still shaves his head every 3 days or so, as he likes it like that now :D The friend is still with us, though not out of the woods yet

    evening all....hope everyones had a great day! Ours was great...kids didnt get up til 7am...and was surprised DD1 didnt shout the house down when saw her stocking or even open it before she woke us! Kids have been great all day..albeit a bit tired for not having a kip this afternoon:)

    Just opened a WKD blue (cant be bothered to venture to garage to get more coke for southern comfort :) and took a swig too quick and covered me and the dog...whoops! Off to Ts in the morning to see if the bits I've been keeping an eye on have OOD SELs .... fingers crossed ;) ...then back to mums in the afternoon for xmas dinner number 2 with my sis and family :) life is good!!

    Evening all :santa2:

    Just popped on to say I hope everyone is well and have all had a lovely day :)

    I really need an early night tonight as I was up until 1.30 wrapping and sorting everything, then just as I was about to go to bed, DD2 woke up :eek: Luckily it wasn't a "I'm awake now and I'm staying up" night, she went back to sleep fairly quickly.

    I'm debating whether to go to T's early tomorrow, or leave it until later in the day...... will see how I feel in the morning.

    Enjoy the rest of your evening everyone, goodnight all x :)

  • Right, a little quiz for you........it'll run for a day or two to let whoever wants to to have a go (unless anyone guesses correctly).

    Who or what owned these gnashers until today?
