    We'd been waiting for the bakery goods to be reduced in our store..... 30 mins before closing, I plucked up courage to ask the guy if they were reducing them. He said no, not enough staff or time to reduce, so would just be binning everything not sold :(

  • why is it that roasted parsnips and potatos taste soooooo nice cold?

    Oooh, totally agree, :beer::beer:

    Think there some cold tatties in the kitchen actually but I'm stuffed full of mince pies, custard, cheese melt bites and bacon and cheese tattie shells.:beer:

    Kids aren't brought up these days, they are dragged up. They don't respect their elders, they have attitude problems etc etc and whenever I see a bad behaved kid I always think "if I had kids I would bring it up how I was brought up - properly" but I don't have the patience for kids and I wouldn't want anything to do with anyone else's. Farts are like children, you can tolerate your own, but anyone else's.....
    i totally disagree with this statement, i didnt "drag" my son up. but i will not enter a disagreement with you, as its xmas day.

    Oh no, I'm not saying ALL kids are dragged up, but a good majority of them are, especially in the less affluent parts of the countries/town/cities.

    Going to stop now in case I'm digging a hole.

    Had one too many drinks.:o

    I just re read my post and I understand where you're coming from. Apologies.

    Good Evening everyone. Hope you all had a good day, and have very full tummies. Sending extra hugs out to those who were on their own this year. :kisses3:

    Now can I get up really early tomorrow to get to the M&S sale by 8am ...then pop into LUSH and maybe Debenhams as well. Plus maybe I need to pop into Mr T on my way home :o

    This is EXACTLY what happened to myself and another friend of martins in my local. We were keeping our eyes on the pecan twirls etc, all dated 24/25th. We were told that the bakery staff were leaving them on the shelves as there was not enough staff to reduce them. This included all the French sticks, etc too!

    Shameless waste :mad:

    SDA guarantee your comparable grocery shopping to be 10% cheaper than Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose or we’ll give you the difference.

    Due to the 10% cheaper guarantee, you're entitled to a voucher of £0.83:
