Yep and all for single time how great is that
But I have a job at least and many others don't so in a way I am very lucky0 -
I think it's awful when firms don't pay extra but like you say glad you've got a job0
-
Gosh they are naff hours El. I have no idea what you do for work but will there be other people with you on 24/25th?
I agree on being glad for having a job, same here too but in my last work place we were almost made to feel guilty about it, which basically translated to mean they would be able to throw anything at people at they accept it greatfully.. I ended up just sitting waiting to be pushed for the payoutApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Shortie, Yes I do have one other person in the building with me, but that person will be sleeping ( at least I hope they will be), i am looking for a new job and have been do so long now, hopefully one will come up soon
In other news my I.L.A has been approved so I need to go book me a course now
Oh and my student loan company have written to me looking for their money, but seeing as how I earn way way less than the threshold I won't be paying that anytime soon0 -
So have phoned a couple of places about the ecdl course, just waiting for them to get back to me, fingers crossed in the new year I can get started and finished for the summer0

Current gas consumption is 11.77 units per day, electricity 11.22 units per day, have to admit I thought it would be more in gas as we had son and gf staying on Friday night and they chose to sleep downstairs ( which is an icebox in summer never mind winter) so we left the heating on all night so that we didn't come across two dead bodies in the morning lol0

I usually work 3 on 7 off, 4 on 7 off that's without overtime or shift changes
Have to admit the shift pattern is a great one, Would be amazing if I wasn't nights0 -

My elec meter's in such a bloo*dy awkward place to get to it's a PITA to read (and don't do it as often as I should:o - I start each year doing it monthly & it fades off .... fairly quickly!)
I've also been worried about putting readings in as I've been in the house 24/7 for the past 8 / 9 weeks which must've had an impact - no matter how careful I've been
However, elec meter reading man has just been (and moved all the stuff in front of where the meter is :T) so I guess I might as well go and enter them and see how much I'm behind:eek:I usually work 3 on 7 off, 4 on 7 off that's without overtime or shift changes

Yup, I'd like something like that - I know they're long days (or nights) but would be great to have more days off!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
