So when was the last time you heard that?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

So sat down with the figures last night and cutting everything to the bone leaves us £306 short every month ( taking this from what I think to be the very basic wage) I'm thinking maybe I need to not pay into a pension just now, I had budgeted £120 for that and tbh £120 isn't anywhere near as much as I should pay into a pension but it's better than nowt
So if I take the £120 from the £306 I'm left with £186 which is more achievable for me with the overtime, it means I'm once more reliant on overtime which I really really don't ever want to be again,
I'm also only budgeting £75 for holidays which is no where near enough so will deff have to have some sort of sell everything not essential deal going on, but them come September I will have £75 less a month to find
I'll also have £28 less a month to find from February as I will have finally paid off the suite ( that's been a long 4 years)
So that is the current state of play, of course it could all change in a second, but right here and right now that's how I stand0 -
Blimey that is eye opening for me.
I tend to think now that a lot of my difficulties are from being just my income coming in but there are two of you.
Sobering thought.

i think the main issue is the fact i only have a part time contract beanie, if i was full time i would have the £306 covered with a tiny bit to spare.
This is all the money though the whole shebang, including fun money it's just cutting everything right back to the bone, and to be honest not quite paying as much as i would like to pay more to alot of them, including holidays, pension, spare, money food etc
so i think it will be an interesting next few months while we get used to this new budget...
and as i say this is just how it is right this second it could easily change tomorrow0 -

Hi rising, one holiday is paid for for us, but we need to find spending money, the other holiday we have paid a big deposit already so would loose that
Once again it's one of those situation we have found ourselves in, I have a feeling it's going to go the same way as this years debacle
And there's me sounding so ungrateful again
Grrrrr to me0
