Tbh beanie I don't know if we would get onto a dmp as we have a lot of equity in the house, we may need to go down the remortgage route though,

But I insisting we don't do that for at least another 5.5 -6 months, I need to prove to myself and mr el that we can live without credit, once we've proven that then I think we can think about remortgaging

I've got 70 something months left of this challenge and I am determined to do it .... And in the mean time I keep on full time job hunting

Oooooo but in good news ( well if I choose to go down this route) got two letters today from two of the credit cards offering me 0% with a transfer fee of 2.9% and 3.5%

So this may actually be breathing space for us for a bit, they run till jan 14 and dec 13

    Maybe worth thinking about ?

i also went out for lunch today with a friend, she has been ill for a wee while now and needed cheering up a bit,

so we went out for meal, my treat, but get this i actually managed not to tip the waiter, normally i tip 10-15% and i grudge every penny as they are just taking an order and bringing the food to my table, and no one tips me, and on top of all that i cant afford it, i realistically cant afford to go out for lunch either, but its one of the very few treats that i have and i dont feel ready to let go of them yet.

but if i was going with my 15% today i wouldve tipped £3 and i think no you know what that tip that i am no longer going to give could go towards my next lunch out, i'm still helping a person stay employed by going out for lunch, and to be honest if i do continue to pay tips i cant go out as often as i would like, this way i can get out for lunch and someone gets to have that small tiny bit more of job security that my small order will make

So I went to the speakers club tonight, it was the funniest night so far, I really enjoy going there, I actually did a wee topic myself , it was a 3 minute talk about what I would want for christmas from Santa

As soon as I found out I was to do it my nerves started again and I was all nervous, but I did not too bad, and I can see how it will help me when I get more into it

I'm so glad I started this group, for less than £2 a week I get two hours of hilarious fun and I learn the skills I need as well :)

Have had a Numpty with very bad English Spelling ( and it wasn't autocorrect issues) you know the type (She wants to meat me sum wur in toun)texting from 1am last night wanting to buy the manicure bag, but wanting it for really cheap, so I've said no , and the texts kept coming, turned my phone off (for the first ever time) and went to sleep, woke up this morning put the phone on and loads of texts flying

I replied explaining why I didn't reply last night ie: it's 1am !!!!!! people are sleeping, told them the lowest price I was willing to go to and left it at that, think I woke them up lol

So have had more texts and have arranged to sell the box, the person is coming from a good distance away, I would've met them half way, but I'm just not sure if I trust them and it's honestly more to do with the time and frequency of texts rather than the lack of any spelling, honest .
