Well today's shopping came to £37.97 it should've come to £49.92 but with the £5 off, couple of whoopsies ( I seemed to have arrived at a great time ) and the 2 for £5 deals that I got I managed to save £11.95
Have a last shop for this deal they have in on Sunday as it finishes then do that will give us another £5 to save which will be ok
I think by Sunday we will need more things anyway, took me next to no time to put the shopping all by though lol ... You really don't get much for your money now
Have checked the gas and electricity as well we have went from3.194 units per day of gas throughout the summer to 7.8 a day and it's only the start of winter ... Yikes
We have went from 9.71 units per day electricity to 12.3 units per day electricity as well but all these things are to be expected with winter on its way
Last year during winter we were using 14.2 units per day gas so I can't really complain yet0 -
are units the same as KWh? cos I use WAY more than you in gas
but lecky sits about 6 or 7 all year round.

Mine works out at 11.2 kwh per unit of gas skinty, so multiply my units by 11.2 and you will have my kwh ... I had to phone up to find out how many kwh were per unit as everyone is different but the average is 110

No both gas El! Think lecky is much more expensive too. DS using ridiculous amounts while on PS3, laptop and ipod all at the same time - grrr!!!Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

We're the same skinty tbh ... Hubby's comp is on 24/7, were usually charging phones, laptops etc as well... And mr el really lives to cook so we spend a lot on the cooking
I pay £140 a month for both which is painful believe me, in our first house we were £11 a week or something equally ridiculous for both0 -
I pay £140 a month for both
 I pay £70 and think that's bad
Well done on the shopping :T - I've got a £4 off £40 one but it's only valid until the weekend and really don't need that much stuff *sigh* (not sure if you saw my freezer listbut really want to try to get through some of that before I buy more).

Yep rising its good to keep things rotating
What size is your house ? Cause £70 seems like a dream figure to me
Shame your ginna miss out on the £4 shopping voucher thing but it's just not worth it sometimes
I'm gonna be doing next weeks shop on Sunday to get the last of the £5 vouchers ( as the promotion finishes on the Sunday) so I want to try and get that extra but if shopping for the money, and it will be 6 days by then since we last did a shop so that's not too bad, now to try and last till then without spending anything else on food
Hubby just informed me his works Xmas night out is in the middle of December, he said earlier on in the year he didn't want to go but now he feels he wants to so I need to find £30/£40 for that, I reckon my overtime will cover it but I really wanted to put that towards either the visa or our treat budget
Will play about with the figures again I think0 -
Mr el has just came in from class and informed me their Xmas night out is the night before his work one, and he will need approx £20 for that, therefore he is having £20 for his first night out and £30 for his second totalling £50 for Xmas nights out, in the grand scheme of things it's actually not that bad, and we will manage, but the budget will need tweaked again, at least we're staying on top of things though0
