this is very true dragon and what a bunch of people they are tbh, really like them so far
i'm also watching them "perform" and learning small nuggets of gold along the way, so i think even though i am not " performing" atleast i am learning and hopefully when the right job comes up then i will be more confident in getting it0 -
pah to MIL spoiling your plans
The RFA sounds like a good thing for Mr El but obviously needs some research

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Ohhhhhhhhh beepin beep!
Does she know about the other hol in August?
If so, could you not say that you can't afford both & have already booked that one so need to save up spending money etc (in case she then turns around & says she's paying for the hol itself)?Mortgage_Reduction_Novice wrote: »(and count my blessings that my MiL is in a different country and not that generous!).

Look you told her that you couldn't afford to go on holiday even if she paid for the flights...then you told her again that you couldn't afford to go on holiday even if she paid for the flights...then you told her again that you couldn't go on holiday even if she paid for the flights.
What has changed?
Nothing, she has paid for the flights, you can merely just repeat what you have said before. Have you checked whether she needs her ears syringed?

Yep she know about the August holiday, I know she is doing it to be nice I do honestly get that ... And I know I sound such and ungrateful biatch .... I do wonder if there's something wrong with me sometimes tbh
Get free flights to anywhere in the world and I couldn't give them away so I took them and landed up in even more debt. And here we possibly might ( although not sure yet) have another holiday bought for us and all I can think about is the amount of debt it will get us into ... I really do sound ungrateful, so many people would be happy and jumping over the moon at such a chance

I did Butti several times, she tried to book us in a cruise last week but with bottles of beer being £9 each we thankfully told her NO before she booked it ( she phoned from the Tavel agents ... Just about to book ... She phone mr el first he said no so she phoned me next I said no ) .... This time she had booked then told us after the fact .... Sigh
Mr el and I will be discussing the situation over the weekend , although I'm nights tonight and 14.5 hours Sunday then nights all next week so don't know exactly when that will be0 -

Butti Is very perceptive;)
Well hubby is just off the phone to his mother, she has booked us in a full board hotel in Benidorm. She has informed hubby she booked this to save us money ( it is very kind of her ) her and father in law are treating us so that's all paid for we just need to find any drink/fun money we may need, so flights hotel and food paid for us we just need to find extra spends
This I think I can work with ... Well ... I can work with it much better than paying for all the food etc ... So plan hatching time again
HUMPH0 -
Oh well better than you thought.
Just use food money from home buget to pay any fun spends.
