Well the shopping, know how I wanted to spend less tho week? It came to £54.65 there were two things not on the shopping list like batteries at £6 and alcohol free lager for mr el at £6 the lager was reduced by £9 and the batteries had £3.50 off them ( batteries for smoke alarms )
I like the way you made a point of stressing what the batteries were for elantan;) (although you're probably quite right to clear that one up, you know how Tilly's filthy mind works:D)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

well today i have decided to shirk off the negativity of the 6 odd year future and tackle things head on again, the cold is still lurking in the background but i think the first defence has worked, so far i think i could go into work tonight ... fingers crossed it stays that way
things done so far today, long lie in till after 12 in preperation for the night shift i intend on doing ... got up and counted all the pennies in the wiskly bottle had £8 grabbed the bag of clothes that i have been slowly accumulating and went up the street, sold the clothes got £2 for them so went into the bank and and banked £10, then came home and transferred £10 to the highest debt
yay i managed to make a £10 overpayment
as i was at home i turned the tv on and i think it has died, i think it will be visiting the great tv heaven in the sky, so i will have to source a new tv for us, i want one free basically, it doesnt have to be fancy flat screen or anything, wouldnt mind one thats 30 odd inches or so and colour and working but thats about all i need, the tv it will be replacing is atleast 15 years old ( if not older we got it second hand from a friend 11 years ago)
so will be scouring freecycle etc till we can get one, till we get one i think we have a small portable in the garage for just incase scenarios, it was a great tv and faithfully worked for years, it cost us nothing so i really have no complaints what so ever
have started my ad points for this week but there is slim pickings on ad points so far will keep checking though as the week progresses, checked my nectar account for the points from last week and they are showing up as there already so it's great to see that slowly coming together , i also got a voucher through for £12 worth of nectar points for getting a sainbusrys delivery, i dont tend to shop in sainburys but i am tempted to for one time, it costs £3.95 for a delivery and as long as i am careful and compare prices i could be quids up
checked through last nights recipet from asda and i think i found my big unplanned spend, we bought a free range chicken i thought it was £3.98 but that mustve been per kilo the thing came to just shy of £9 so if we hadnt bought that and the alcohol free lager and batteries we wouldve been doing well i think , will need to keep an eye on the chicken prices though, this was only the second chicken i have ever bought so i think i can let myself away with the mistake and will keep an eye out for it in future, i did get a £1.20 back from the shopping through their price guarantee scheme, and i imagine that was for the chicken as everything else was very cheap lol0 -
yay mr d has told me how to fix the t.v ... so we dont need to rush out and hunt one down, there was one on freegle i had asked if it was still available, if the guy gets back to me and it is, i may just take it anyway to replace the one in the garage ( as i know this tv wont last for ever)which i can give to son, will see what happens0

Hi Elantan, yes 1st of the month for the £5 Halifax reward, mine goes straight into the OP pot!
Have enjoyed reading your diary. The timings for debt/MF are very similar to mine, so your helping me keep focussed as i do falter! Like the scenario of the little steps up the mountain, will remember that when the going gets tough! Good luck.:)0
