Have you got any vodka ?? if so wipe it neat over the area, and leave to sink in, should get rid of the smell x
Alternatively, drink the vodka and then you won't care anymore...
And lock the cat flap.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Smell-wise the vinegar is great, although I've always used it neat and left it to dry (a stray male sometimes gets into the house and sprays, so if it deals with that then it will deal with anything!!), but as suggested, it may kill the paintwork.0

I absolutely second this; I use the Natural Live Bio-cultures Pet Stain and Odor Eliminator solution (Ginger Eucalyptus oil blend). Pricey but worth every blimmin penny. Our cat has been peeing on the front door for months, nothing got the smell out so he kept going back. Squirted Simple Solution everywhere, not only is the smell completely gone, the cat has stopped peeing there. Happy cat, happy ownersIt's not exactly kind to paint (especially gloss), but it certainly isn't as bad as vinegar.

Did you use Crown emulsion? I have seen quite a few comments recently about that smelling of cat pee.

No, just b&q stuff in here.
Thanks for all the advice-at least I know the source of the smell now-it was driving me mad. Will try vinegar, although don't have any white, so may just pick up some surgical spirit at work tomorrow 1st.0 -
