    thats their call
however if they are doing that and taking extra money for express then its a different matter
I send special mail to the channel Islands regularly, and they do next day special delivery by the royal mail, use it all the time,so no excuse really. Shocking news this, no excuse.

Same story here too (thus far).

Ordered yesterday at 2pm, paid £4.99 for Express Delivery, received dispatch email a couple of hours later advising delivery will be today (still says that).

What these companies don't seem to realise is that its not just the extra cost we pay to get items delivered to us quickly, its the [often] whole day we have to wait in for the goods to arrive, and if they don't, that's essentially a day wasted.

I guess they still have a while left to deliver today though, but I'm not holding my breath.

I order 2 memory cards with express delivery, they sat at processing in warehouse for nearly 24 hours then dispatched.

After not receiving after two days I called play to be told in broken english that there is nothing they can do until the items are delivered. I asked what service/company my items were sent with, "Royal Mail Express sir", a service that I have never heard of before, so I asked again was it Parcel Force or Royal Mail Signed For, "No Sir as I said before Royal Mail Express" and then he hung up.

That is the last time I order from play, would have been better taking my chances with the fake memory cards on flee bay.
