Samsung Galaxy Note BEST DEALS thread...

Just after I posted the above I got my monthly bill from Virgin and found that they hadn't applied the discount I usually get. Checked my account and found a few other anomalies. Phoned Virgin and sorted out the bill OK and then she said did I know I was due an upgrade (not due till August) and put me through to the upgrade team.
They said that they wouldn't be getting the Note (as I thought) and offered me the Galaxy S2. Problem was that they wanted £30 per month for it with 800 minutes, 3,000 texts and 1Gb data. No good to me as my usage is very low. I told them that I could get a deal with less of everything for £21 and free phone which is available from O2 or Orange but no go. Best he could do was £22 plus £199 for the phone!
Bit frustrating as I would love to get an S2 now but I'm not paying that much for it. Don't think they'll be ringing back as my contract has a few months yet to run. I'll be calling them back in July to give my notice and see what happens. He did say that there was going to be a lot going on at Virgin between now and then whatever that means.0 -
Re-seller has dropped price slightly. Now £26 a month x 24 with free handset, through Orange - http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobile-phones/Samsung/Samsung-Galaxy-Note/Orange/Orange-Dolphin-26-(24mths)-inc.-Internet/11756463 .

I suppose that the upside to waiting is that either Virgin will bring the price of the S2 down to a price I'm happy with by July or, if not, the Note might be down to a better price. I'll keep an eye out in the meantime. Have fun with your new phone!0

I want to stay with Voda and need more minutes so it's no good for me though.

Just followed the link you posted and have found the Note at an unbelievable £20.50 per month with a free handset. Has 100 mins, unlimited texts and 500Mb which would be perfect for me. This seems so cheap I'm wondering if it's a mistake? Either way it's too early for me as I'm still on contract until July. I suppose that I could switch now and sell my Desire to cover the difference but I wanted to hang on to that..
Posting this as someone might find it useful. It's easily the cheapest Note contract I've seen as it barely covers the cost of the phone.0 -
Aaagh - above 2 posts were while I was typing...............0

This wasn't a mistake as some people ont the HotDealsUK website have received their phones. Offer is shown as being available until March 31st if anyone is interested.0
