    Thanks for the heads up....

I bought the last 66 * 90 purple ones. !! (furthest shop in my local area)

They now look rather elegant in my hall, they are quite heavy so it shows the quality. Nice feel to them....

The previous ring top (were £10 Argos special) ones are now @ my back door - making that area improved too!!!

I bought some beech rings £6 and the plastic hooks £1.

SO A MSE WAY TO IMPROVE THINGS!!!

  • Has anyone tried to iron these curtains? I have hung mine but they are so creased in places that I need to do something but I am a bit dubious incase I ruin them.

Lined Curtains £11.99 at Argos - lots of colours to choose from

somebody's not searching before posting! Twice :rotfl:
  • Do they come with tie backs?
  • No, they don't come with tie backs.
  • First of all, thanks to the OP - I hate my bedroom curtains, and this might give me the motivation to change them :)

I have a window that is longer horizontally than vertically, so to make this work, I'd need to turn the curtains around 90 degrees, and stitch some new curtain tape on the longer side.

Can anyone who has the curtains let me know if they think this would work - from the particular perspective of whether there is a strong directionality in the fabric (i.e. do you think it would hang properly if they were hung 'sideways')

Hope that makes sense ;) TIA.

Why don't you buy 2 pairs of the shortest drop. I'm sure they would look much better at your window instead of trying to turn them round
