  • I have ordered a pair of the purple ones to collect tomorrow, I wish they's had them in the 46" wide but I'll just have to pull the pleating tape a bit tighter! I'm hoping they are a bit darker than they appear, but at the price I'm getting them for I shouldn't complain. Thanks op

I bought some of the purple ones a few days ago - they are a good, true (not plum!) dark purple.

Iron on the wrong side and put a tea towel on top of curtain when ironing.

I really wouldnt try it even with a velvet board which I have, let alone a tea towel :j

I'm trying to determine what size to get (just went back and reserved more in a larger size as I'm unsure). The track is about 70 inches. I ordered the 46 inch curtains, so that seems like plenty (each set would cover 92 inches if stretched out). But I then read you should get something that is at least 1.5 times the total width of your rail/track with pleated curtains. I don't know if I care how full or rich the pleats are, really. Should I get the 66 inch ones to be on the safe side, though?

What do the measurements refer to, the full width of the material stretched out, or the window dimensions?

Skibster buy the 66 ones or they will look skimpy when they're pleated.

Lotus the measurements are for one curtain, and you get a pair.

But is that the stretched out dimensions with pleats still in it?

ie 60 inches of useable curtain with the pleats still in them?

Sorry if I'm not making any sense, I've never bought curtains like this before. hopefully someone will know what I mean.

The 46-inch curtains are each 46 inches stretched out -- no pleats. So one set covers 92 inches of curtain rail if they are stretched out without pleats. With pleats, they will fill less space, but how much less depends on how pleated they are.
