    I bought these when they were half price, they are excellent value. Very thick and heavy. They are dry clean only so worth considering.

    Thanks! I wanted the duck egg as it would match our duvet, but the review said they weren't dark enough for the bedroom. Anyone else happen to have these in that shade? I went ahead and reserved red, hoping the darker shade would keep light out better.

    Also, any idea if these are hard to hem? I'd have to use that hem tape or whatever it's called.

    How are they at keeping out light? Do you think they'd be hard to hem?

    if you mean bondaweb/wondweb fusible hemming. DONT do it, you will end up with flat iron shaped sections all along the hem. You need a needle and thread for these.

    if you mean bondaweb/wondweb fusible hemming. DONT do it, you will end up with flat iron shaped sections all along the hem. You need a needle and thread for these.

    Iron on the wrong side and put a tea towel on top of curtain when ironing.
