We just done Dunsilly this weekend and made a few bob as well as cleared a few bits

We did price stuff - but were open to offers.

Take loads of carriers and change ( as well as fivers)

Be aware that as soon as you arrive, you will be swamped with people pulling apart what you have to see whats there. We even had guys half in the car trying to get into the boxes before we had unloaded. We were a couple so we could cope with it, but the lady in the next car found it to be very intimidating and quiet scary

The kids stuff ( high chair, cot etc) went fast and for good prices. Stuff that didnt sell were books, dvds etc

And no body will want to pay what you are asking - they want it for free. I had toiletries boxed, unopened that I had seen in Savers selling £7, I was asking £2 and they wanted to pay a quid.

Dunsilly advertises its open till 2pm but to be honest most were packing up around 11.30 having sold all they were going to

And if you are having a early start - remember the torch :D

    Hiya

How much are they charging at Dunsilly these days, and how many tables can you take?

    Thanks Radley

Also wanting to know if Crumlin Road is still going on Sundays?

I have loads of stuff boxed up to sell (baby clothes, toiletry sets, books, toys and various other things) but working every Saturday for the next few weeks so need a Sunday car boot.

Also I'm a selling virgin so any tips for how to go about getting the best prices would be helpful or what price to aim things at?

I have been to Crumlin Road a number of times and done quite well with junk!
I was told today that the Crumlin Road Car Boot sale is closing and moving to Nutts Corner as the ground has been sold for development. Was told this was the last week. Has anyone heard anything about this? I had planned to go down on Sunday but no point if it is closed down!
    Thanks

Its a fiver for cars and there didnt seem to be a limit on tables, we had two and many had more as well as rails.

But then that was Feb and it wasnt so busy, maybe they are stricter in the summer?
