Car boot sales (Merged discussion)

Does anyone know of any good car boot sales in Belfast either soon or regularly? I am hoping to sell some unwanted items as I am having a huge clearout before moving. I know I could sell them on eBay but I have a lot to sell and it seems very time consuming.
Weekends would suit better than weekdays.
The stuff is mainly clothes, gift sets, bags, accessories, smellies and makeup. Most of the clothes are unworn and all of the toiletries are unopened.
Thanks. :A7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs14 Feb: 10st4.5lbs

Windsor Park closed a couple of months ago - the biggest car boot sale in Belfast on sunday morning is at the top of the Crumlin Road - get there early. Otherwise, Dundrum is on Sunday morning (get there about 7.30 a.m.) and there's one started in Newry on Sunday morning - I think its at the market but I'm not sure as I've never been. Every 3rd saturday there is a big one at Moygashel - again get there about 7.00 a.m
If I was you, I'd wait for a couple of weeks (at least till everyone has been paid - as no-one is spending much money at car boot sales at the minute and there isn't that many people selling or buying cause its too cold!!)0 -
also one in Newtownards - on the Portaferry Road early sunday morning!!!0

If I was you - I'd give ebay a go with the smellies & clothes - especially if new - as you'll get very little for them at the car boot sales - but those things go really well on ebay0

Thanks all, sorry for taking so long to reply! I am going to leave it till about March and then hit one of the car boot sales as winter is probably a quiet time for them (as ustupidwoman - who is clearly not
- says!).

Hi all, I am thinking of heading to Dungannon's Car Boot sale this weekend. I have quite a lot of equipment that my two children (3 and 18 months) have grown out of. I was just wondering if anyone here has experience of the local car boot sales, or even those in ROI. I am keen to clear out the house and make some space. Granville in Dungannon is close to me, but if there was a better car boot sale I would certainly travel.
Also, are there any tips? My Mother in law says I should mark everything with a price, but then I have read other places that this puts people off? It's hard to know as a lot of info is written for people across the water, and the way things are done here can differ an awful lot.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Good question, I would leave the price off, what do you propose to sell?
