Just seen this advertised on Gumtree, heading to Junction One on Saturday so will probably call in for a look..

EVERY SATURDAY ALL YEAR ROUND

Does anyone know if this is instead of the Dunsilly car boot sale or a rival to it? It would appears to be just down the road from the famous Dunsilly one.

Does anyone know if the car boot sale at Bangor seafront is still going on Sunday mornings?

And any word on if the Abbey one will be starting this summer - there appears to be a lot of work going on in the grounds.

I have just called the marketing department at Ikea Belfast and was told they have no future plans as there was a disappointing turnout. I mentioned that I hadn't even heard of it and I pass there most days and live locally; perhaps that might encourage them to advertise better and try again. Seems that finding info on local carboots in Northern Ireland is a nightmare! Shame.

This is a new car boot sale as I saw it also on the facebook group cbni which is very good for last minute information about boot sales. Although it is in Antrim it doesn't seem to be anything to do with the other one, it is beside Asda which is handier for me as I can shop afterwards in Asda and wander round junction one and spend even more money! It seems to be early days yet for them, not too busy yet but seems the people running it are pleasent and good craic!! I suppose there can never be too many car boot sales!

Heard through a friend of a friend (yes one of those take with a pinch of salt stories) that the Saturday Car Boot held at the Abbey will be held instead at the Seafront (where the Sunday one is). It will still be on a Saturday and it's also been "said" that no traders will be allowed and just private sellers.

Apparently it was in the Spectator but this isn't a newspaper I would buy and their online news is limited. If anyone knows anything or can confirm "story" it'll be appreciated.

I can confirm that there is due to be a Saturday Car Boot sale at Bangor Seafront starting this Saturday 9 July.

The ad in the Speccy did say no traders.

Can anyone confirm if the car boot on the Crumlin road is still on a Sunday. All of the signs seem to have been removed.:question:
