Which is why I set up my wee page over a year ago, and it now has over 1000 friends :D. Lots of info on car boots sales, and lots of reviews from real people who have been and sold/bought from the sales :)

    Thanks, I've added you. :)

I'm doing a clearout of my childhood bedroom (I'm a student so I'm only at home for the holidays) and I've found a lot of stuff! Mainly childhood games and stuffed toys. I think a car boot sale is in order!

Has anyone been to one in the Tyrone area? I see there's one in Dungannon on the third Saturday of the month with fees going to hospice services. Anyone been to that?
  • Does anyone know what time you have to be at the crumlin road boot sale on sundays?

Hi can anyone confirm that the Crumlin Road Car boot is defo on this Sunday morning (28th)? - Plan this as my first car boot as a seller.

Also plan to arrive around 7.30 - is this to early or to late do you think?

AFAIK, it's every Sunday. I never check, just go along when the mood takes me and it's always been on whenever I've gone..

Yes, 7:30 is bit late if you want a good spot. You will have to queue at this time to get in and therefore can take a while to get set up.
There is a good crowd at the sale but they want everything for nothing! I have found that they want most things for £1!! I have sold a good few more expensive things but again you won't get 'top' prices. Anytime I go i get rid of lots of unwanted stuff that is cluttering my house and have never come away with less than £75.
Just be careful when you arrive because you will probably turn around to find someone searching through your boot while you set up, good to have someone else with you to keep an eye on things.
  • Hi,

    Hi Lindsay Lou,

Why not stay warm and sell.....cregagh road presbyterian church holds a car boot 1st Saturday of every month. Call and book a table indoors!! If you get indoors you set up on the Friday night. There is steady flow of people too.
