Hey Souk, any chance that you could put a follow button onto the blog. I keep missing your updates because I am not following and having just read it I REALLY want to keep up.

Mrs Moo, I have just added the follow option. I'm learning more about this every day!

Had a lovely night with the girls last night. Nice food, few drinks(some of whch may have been cocktails:whistle:)then last train home.

Bought a webcam yesterday as one of my interviews on Thursday is via Skype. I'm learning! :rotfl:

You are indeed learning. All techy with webcams and all. Go you. Thanks for adding the follow. Heading over there now to sign up

Loving the idea of a skype interview. Must be a great organisation.

Hi all, long time no post but been nearly but not quite with jobs for a while.

I now have a new job to start and am waiting to sign for my new flat after the Jubilee celebrations. The job is very me and the flat is just fab.

Not been on in ages as at my folks and no real routine to spending or earning but going to need this place to sort my cash out when i move out again so will get back to it.

It's been a long haul but my folks are brilliant and I've so enjoyed my time here. Raring to go now!

    Soooo...suppose I'd better talk about money:eek:
I left the old job with a full months salary plus a weeks holiday pay but this had all but gone as I have had no less than 9 different interviews to go to, plus prep for them and meeting folk who could help me. Every time I went from my folks to Glasgow I tried to also see friends and have some fun...suffice to say I managed it but it has eaten into my cash.

It's not all gone on that though as I also had to pay out my normal living expenses in May (apart from rent) and have paid quite a bit in June as I had contracts with Sky, internet folk etc which I am tied to and can use again when I move to my new place.

However, there is a bit to come in:
I forgot I had given mum £400 to save for me and she gave me that back the other day :j
I have been signing on as my last place weren't any happier with me than I was with them and I got them to finish me up in a way that let me out instantly and let me sign.
I am due about £400 of a tax rebate from HMRC as my last employer lost my P45  and I overpaid by LOADS at the beginning of that role.
I am trying to get PPI back but it's a really old loan so they're not legally obliged to help. I'm still asking though.
I have about £70 of interview expenses to get back.

This cash and what's left in the bank will see my through til payday at the end of the month, providing it all gets sorted before the cut off. Mum and Dad are very kindly paying the deposit on the new flat :j and some rent up front and then I will pay this back to them.

June's pay will be small so I may need to shuffle money there, but by end of July I SHOULD be back to normal.

I'll probably not be able to fit another holiday in this year but we're booked to go to Manchester Pride again  and I plan to do a bit of stuff at the Fringe. I know not what yet but am in Edinburgh on Wednesday for a mammogram to check all is A OKAY there so I can pick one up then. I am also meeting Flyin Fresian for lunch :j
    So this week's plans are:
Today: Buy work clothes for new job.
Tomorrow: Jubilee Garden Party _party_at Ma and Pa's. I'm not fussed about the Royals either way but any excuse to get wired into sausage rolls, cake and Bucks Fizz is fine by me :rotfl:
Tuesday: May need to do more shopping, depending on how today goes.
Wednesday: Mammogram, seeing friend with baby and lunch with Fresian :j
    Thursday/Friday: Move house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday: Buy bits for flat and try to get it all organised including food shopping etc. Babysit pm
    Sunday: Continue getting organised.
    Monday: Start new job.

Moving will be ace. Had a great time here but time to get back to living in my own bachelorette pad now. Wont be too stressful as I dont have huge amounts of 'stuff' to move. Loads is at a friends and she will drive it over for me at the end of the week and I have one huge case at my folks.

Best get ready to get into town and get some stuff for work. I'm not at my smallest after 6 weeks here and I'm hoping I dont have to buy the next size up
