Hi lovely, been VERY tired and 'meh' since I got back...but the hol was AMAZING. Lots of lying in the sun with my dear best friend and gorgeous food every night.

Not deliriously happy in the new city unfortunately so thinking about that a lot. Can't say too much as its a public forum but I have some ideas and am making the most of it for now. Also having a few health probs which are not fun. :(

Moneywise Im fine and get paid on Wed. Off back to Glasgow to see Mum tomorrow :jHavent seen her since Xmas  Supposed to be out tomorrow night with a few new friends and out for lunch on Tuesday.

Managed on £49.70 for last month grocery wise and going for £60 this month. Need to meal plan on my days off and probably get an Asd@ order in. Missing not being near an Aldi, Lidl is closeish but not as good :( Will be back with budgets etc tomorrow or Wed but not too bad XXX

Sorry to read that things are up and down for you in various areas. I hope that those things that can be sorted are easily done and that none of it gets you down too much.

Food spend-wise, you are my utter inspiration! I am determined to come in on budget this month. I have never really liked Lidl so can understand the frustration at a lack of Aldi!

Hope your health issues get sorted soon. Thinking of you and sending supportive thoughts as you settle in to your new home and get things the way you want them! :j x

Thanks girls, it really does help!

Just got an Asd% order in. Really helps me to be organised and keep my cash sorted.

Working through this weekend but got a friend through with her family tomorrow which will be grand. Off next weekend and away to Glasgow to see the gays. Cant wait!

or Id be skint as well as everything else.

    LOOOOONG time no post.

Well it has been very up and down here. Still not deliriously happy but again not going to say too much. Let me just say that I am on the case and have plans going forward.

The health stuff is getting there. I had a breast cancer scare basically which was very frightening but got the all clear on Wednesday :j Great to be out the other side of that. I have also had terrible skin problems for months but finally saw a dermatologist on Thursday and she has given me a huge bag full of various lotions and potions to work with. feeling less itchy already! She thinks its internal excema ie the type that runs along with dry skin, hayfever etc but is going to get me patch tested in case its a contact type. I think a lot of it has been stress to be honest so need to think of ways to combat that.

Currently I have a huge inflammed abcess on my back and have had the afternoon off work for that  Seen the doctor and got yet more stuff for that. I think it has been caused by constantly scratching at the excema in the first place.

Apart from lots of trips to hospital and the pharmacy I have also:
Been to Glasgow to see the gays last weekend. There was disco dancing involved and much
Caught up with another friend in Glasgow and had a great chat for HOURS. I miss her.
Saw Mum this week. She stayed for a few nights while I got my results. She was so worried that she said her house has never been cleaner..and she's VERY clean anyway!
I have a friend staying this weekend as she's training for some sporty stuff up here. Hope she's prepared to dress my boil for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and that she didn't come up expecting a wild time as I'm already in bed wearing greasy cream and PJ's!

Next week I have a work meeting down south so I am going to make it a fun occasion by meeting Cheery Daff after it.Then I am staying with a friend for food and wine next Friday night.

    Money wise I have:
£16.70 in my purse to last til Wednesday (good job I dont plan on doing much) :rotfl:
£45 put by for Mums bday at the end of the month plus £12 for my train through to Glasgow. Im treating her,Dad and myself to afternoon tea somewhere lovely. My lovely brother is coming too but he gets bonus this month so he's paying his own. :D
£50 to last from Wednesday to the following Friday (payday) which will cover dinner with Daff and some wine for my friend.

If desperate I can also dip into the £150 I'll be saving this month. Not my usual amount but in among all this kerfuffle it's not too bad and there have been quite a few taxis hither and thither as I had to see Doctors etc. I'll put more by next month. This fund is my holiday/break/moving flat fund. I want to move out of this one by the summer for sure so this cash can do my deposit and bits for my new place if needed and a holiday if not.

It's nice to be back and have somewhere to focus on my money.

I have overspent on groceries by £2.86 so far but again as I have been feeling awful and buying odd bits this is not too bad.
