Well, great day yesterday but Body Attack on the way home nearly polished me off!
So moneywise I spent a few bits yesterday and now have:
£80 a week for spends (not including the week Im in Goa as this money comes from holiday budget)
£500 for Goa :j
£20 Toiletry Budget. I know this is a lot but Im planning to stock up at Semi Chem today.
£50 Food Budget. This is down a bit as Ill be away for a week.
£20 Kindle Budget - I have £9.07 in the pot so by the end of Feb I should have about £15 to pay into the bank for this and Il find a fiver from somewhere!
Going to start packing and organising in a bit and do my food and toiletry lists before heading to the shops this afternoon.
Getting my feet done on Saturday so I have nice toenails for Goa. not essential but saves me taking polish with me and as my feet will be out i want them to look nice. I may take this from weekly spends money but it could come from the holiday pot if need be.'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Spent a bit today and got some food stocks at L1dl, some toiletry bits at Semi Chem, some dollars to change to Rupees in India and 2 pillowcases at Poundstretcher.
Now have £76 to spend between now and next Tuesday and £23.10 left of the grocery budget. I have also done most of my packing, put my months electricity amount into the meter, paid my CT and cleaned my flat throughout so I feel organised for the weekend as i have friends staying Friday and Saturday and am away early on Monday.
Feeling quite sorted and organised in general, which is nice!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

Hi all,
Friends are here but 1 is out training and the other still asleep so quick update before I head off tomorrow.
Holiday fund now stands at £460 as I bought a £20 bottle of wine for the boys I'll be staying with:eek: and my travel insurance. Just need to print that later and finish a bit of packing and Im good to go.
I also have £20 in my purse left over from this week so I can use that on my train journey south/at the airport to get a few magazines etc. Ive put a few books on my kindle and will pop a few more on today to keep me amused on the flight.
No snow up here but looked quite bad down in Manchester so I'll need to fly in my coat and boots!!!!
So looking forward to this holiday x'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
