    Hi all,

Still hadn't been feeling the best with one thing and another but much cheerier now.:j Been to a class at the gym tonight and had 2 training sessions. Really enjoyed them so going to look at budgeting that all in after Goa.

Off all weekend so having a friend through to stay tomorrow. She's a uni mate and we always do a January meet of M and S food, vino  and gossip. Too cold and skint to do much else!

Holiday fund is now sitting at £380 but will definetely need to use a wee bit of this before I get paid in 10 days :( Dinner tomorrow is my turn and Im hopefully meeting gilligansyle this week and also got lunch with Flyin Fresian next Sunday so will borrow a bit from this and pay it back in when I get paid ;)

Went to Ikea last week with Flyin and bought a few bits for the house. Cost me just under £50 from the holiday fund too. I also had to spend £25 in Asda as I left the freezer door open a day last week  and loads of food got wasted. What a fool. Thats me out of the ruddy grocery challenge then :rotfl:

In tonight with a cider and the Royle Family. Tis nice to be back X

I thought that you were quiet and just thought about you today. Glad to hear that you have your oomph back. Not long to the holiday is it? Would love to hear about the galleries too. It certainly sounds as if you are getting things on track now. Take it easy on yourself though all that work and the "characters" on the bus will be taking its toll.

  • Great to hear from you and glad that things are better for you :)

you did well coming out of Ikea £50 lighter, my last trip was eyewatering! :D

what a bummer on the freezer door! :(

    hope things stay cheery :)

All is not great money wise.

Holiday fund is going to be down to £260 by the time this weekend is out BUT I have had a good week and feel much more like me. Saw gilligansyle, saw a friend last weekend, got gays staying this weekend and seeing Flyin on Sunday so all much more fun. :j:j

I have budgeted as though I will get what I got the last few months in my wage but my tax may be sorted, in which case I will actually get a bit extra. Holiday will be fine anyway and some of this spending does include my bus ticket and the Ikea stuff so had to be done. Food spends will be lower next month as Im away for a week so thats good too.

Been enjoying the gym and work is improving for me.

Goa is a week on Monday  How did that happen?!

Payday is on Monday. Cant wait to see what i get and budget accordingly. Im sad like that, me!

    :j:j:jIt's payday!

Yep, a payday post coming up. Wildly excited as a week yesterday I leave for Goa and I have £500 spends for this. I think I will come back with lots as apparently it's very cheap but it's good to have it.

Giving myself £50 this month for groceries as Im away a week and planning to hit the lovely Lidl tomorrow!

Spends will hopefully be pretty good. I just need to pay some cooncil tax first. No months off for me as Ive just started paying on this flat but can do 2 months off this wage as tax is now sorted and I know EXACTLY what Im getting each month. Also owed some back before April :j

Off to work now. Delivery day today. Back later and have a good one all X
