  • Well I got a next account recently to be sensible and order things we need and hit the sales but I didnt get a vip sale slot - think because its only a few mths old. So hopefully I might get one next time??? But my lovely mum booked a slot for us and said I could order £100 of things for the kiddies :) So all is not lost as Ive got some bargains on order :) Managed to get 5 pairs of boots!!! A sleeping bag for DS2 and a few trousers and tops....So got a fair amount I think :) Only thing now is hope we do get them all....... Also DS1 snow boots I ordered now say upto4 weeks so hopefully they dont take to long and miss any snow and cold weather.

Today we are going to a garden center I think to have a look at all the xmasy bits and to get DD3 a stocking, so should only be a small spend day!

Wraped some more presents last night so shouldnt have a mad rush on xmas eve trying to get them all wrapped.

Glad you got some bits in the sale, if stuff is in stock you can get some fab bargains. Not sure how the VIP slot thing works as they just sent me mine. As you say maybe need to have account for a while.

    Have a very Merry Christmas x x x

  • Hello, Not updated for a while but its been a busy time :) We had a lovely christmas!! The kiddies got lots of nice toys, they also got a few things like new PJs etc from nannies which will come in handy :) We have had a few NSD which is really good but did have to spend £50 yesterday!!! Just on food as we had people round, also beers and some baby milk - hated spending so much lol. But I have not done a shop this week and hope to last till next tue before doing one so not to bad :)

Got some Amazon vouchers for xmas for the little ones, they have soooo many toys so will save for if something comes up they need and if not might use it on some nappies for when this lot ive got run out?? much cheaper on Amazon.....

Have some how forgotten my pincode for the debit card! (How I dont know, can remeber the one we used to have about a yr ago but not the newer one lol. So tried to ask for a new one but said tecnical error!! Atleast it will stop me spending as much if I cant use the card!! ) I do need to go into town and get 2 bday presents for dds partys they have coming up - hope to get something in the sales?? I also need to get DD2 a new coat as hers is a little too small but also the zip is broken. Will hopefully get a nice one in end of sales?? Will see.

Tomorrow DH and DD1 are going out to some basketball match - DH friend got free tickets so DD is very excited!! So shouldnt cost too much, might just get DD to bring a drink and some xmas sweets so they might not have to spend much atall :)

Looking forward to the new year. I will lose the left over baby weight..... I will...... I will not spend on a CC for the whole of 2012 (Fingers crossed!!!!) and I will be organised for next christmas and I will sort some savings out.........

Right best get a move on a tidy the kitchen a bit before bed.

Hi Mummy, glad you had a nice Christmas.

Spending is unavoidable if you have friends coming over and it could have been worse than £50 especially when you consider the baby milk was best part of a tenner anyway.

I popped into Npton to look at the sales and got a few bits as Birthday pressies. Maybe look again online in Next for DDs coat as its open to everyone now not just VIP slots.

Hope they enjoy the basketball (and they dont spend too much!)

  • I was in sainsbugs this morning and they had lots of kids clothes reduced tp 50/70% off including some coats, might be worth looking if you have one local.
  • Thanks might have to go and look in sainsbugs (not sure where my nearest one even is lol) I looked in Mrt today but didnt have any in her size - they had smaller ones and bigger ones though!! Grrr Next online doesnt have any either :( they had some going out smarter ones but I need one thats going to be good for school...... Will keep looking though......

Basketball is off now as was too late - DD1 is gutted but she will be ok. Atleast DH cant spend loads of money lol

Tomorrow we are going to a party and then to the inlaws to see in the new year :)

Been to book up DDs party today so paid £30 for that. Then got a few bits in the sale in MrTs so been a spend day.

  • Evening, Ive had a productive day :) We took all the xmas bits down today (Like it done before dds bday so thats its all about her :) ) So havent been out the house as also sorted loads of there toys and put them all away. DH did 2 trips to the tip so glad its all gone.
Was a spend day though as DH brought some beers for himself and lemonaid for me as its his last night before having to get up at silly oclock!! He has said he is going to cut out the beers for the rest of Jan which will br great for the pennys and he also wants to do it as part of getting a bit healthier.

Tomorrow I NEED to go to the shops and get some bits in. The only time we have ever got to the last toilet roll and tonight DD3 dropped it down the toilet!!! Arrrr so have run out!!! Not good having to use the kitchen rolls lol.

Have tried to sort out the online banking for the new bank account but have to wait for them to send me the log in details. Will be glad to set it all up and have that account just for living off and being able to over pay on the ccs etc.....

Paid £7.50 overdraft fees today (even though its a bank holiday!!) So a little more added to the paid off this year :) Every little helps they do say!!

Tomorrow apart from the shop we are going to have a all fun family day as its everyones last day of the holidays!! Will do what ever the girls want (that doesnt cost a fortune ofcourse - they will prob want to go out on there scooters)
