First Direct are NOT there, although I think they should be - the list is in alphabetical order and goes from Eon to Greenflag!

Everyone who thinks Amazon are great - BEWARE - I made the mistake of buying a bed from this lot - company was called "Comfy-Living".
Bed came - 3 weeks later the bed base broke, due to extremely thin wooden slats used for base. Contacted company through Amazon who refused to refund me! I didn't want a replacement as this had happened so quickly it was obviously poor quality. Amazon wouldn't help at all as they only refund if you don't receive or it's damaged when received. So they were no help at all - even though when I raised a claim through them I got a phone call stating they'd refund me as it was obvious I deserved one?! Really fed up. I'm now having to take the company to the small claims court to get my refund after being given the complete runaround by one very nasty woman there - who seems to deal with everything?! Avoid this company like the plague.0 -
First Direct is the best company I have EVER dealt with, they get it right first time every time in my experience. You actually can speak to a real person 24/7 365 days a year in the UK. I have always got through, none of this press 1 or 2.
Lakeland is the second company, excellent customer service.
British Gas is the third for me, always very helpful when I call them. (I will never move to another supplier, had bad experience from EON and Powergen, you cannot put a price on good customer service).
Amazon, the fourth company, again good customer service and speedy deliveries.
Sainsbury insurance (not sure who they are underwritten by) but had very good service when I needed to put in a claim on contents insurance, polite and speedy, you can't ask for more.0 -

I told a staff member one December a couple of years ago that a card holder I bought the previous year didn't work for me. She told me to just bring it back in for a refund, which I did.
How good is that? :smileyhea
I agree - Lakeland are a wonderful company. Best customer service bar none.0
