Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I agree! When I read the subject of the poll on FB they were my first thought.

  • You're missing Matalan, Premier Inn and also Lakeland. :)

What's interesting is at the moment more of the 'premier' brands are winning. i.e. Waitrose, John Lewis etc....

I have to say that I voted for those brands that I frequently use but am also very happy with.
  • Amazon are by far my favourite. Other companies should learn from them. Customer service is superb and delivery cheap and fast. I use them for selling books too; their system is very efficient. My only criticism is the postage they allow you. £2.80 is nowhere near enough for large textbooks, which I sometimes sell.
  • I would like to see Screwfix on the list. They have competitive prices & excellent customer service.

    Thanks Martin,

A very timely and handy poll. I had some money set aside to buy some shares, the results of your poll confirms one of my 'to buy' list.

    Merry Christmas everyone.
