Hi Everyone,
Im looking for some advice and Im hoping someone can help me. First of all i apologise if I have posted this in the incorrect forum.. please feel free to move this if it is the case, I wasnt sure where else to post it
Last month i ordered something from EBAY and there was a mix up with the payment via paypal. to cut a long story short i had to pay a (£11) charge to EBAY which I did... it was around a week or so late though as i was on vacation.
In the meantime i had received a letter from a debt collectors that obviously deal with late payments to EBAY. I had no telephone number on the letter to explain the situation that i had infact paid prior to the letter coming thru from the DC.
I later rec'd a phone call from the DC and i explained the situation. They cleared this from their records, however have since been trying to claim a charge back from me for £8.00.
I feel this is very unjustified but when i explained the situation to the company they told me it had to be paid or legal action would be taken
i just dont know what to do... I have the money and can pay it but I feel like I shouldnt have to go down this route.
Any advice would be very much appreciated folks
Thanks again M x0
