Get a job where?? The WP are not getting people job interviews as they can't!!

A work trial is not a job and there doesn't even have to be a job there at the company you take a trial with.

Exactly I know they can't find work, hence why they're subcontracting clients out to other recruitment agency's, which are in turn providing work trials for free labor.

Mandatory 6 day course on the WP
Titled customer services was supposed to be half that half employability, but half way through done 4 hours customer service and about 6 hours listening to NHS guests talking about alcohol and diet.

So regardless of the job you were looking for you have to do this course?

Why are they talking to you about booze and food? Are they assuming like most people that ALL unemployed are junk food eating drunks?

Yes everyone on this course was mandated to do it no matter their job goals.

Thats the impression we all got that people assume us unemployed have problems with alcohol, drugs, healthy eating. It was like guest talkers they would have in secondry school and we felt it was demeaning. There may well be unemployed who have alcohol problems so if they have to sit through this I would imagine they would feel it was a personal attack on them.

I would like to see the job centre threaten a sanction on the absentees as the 1st 2 days were not even a course just listening to NHS visitors, hardly a work related activity.

Ask the WP how much this is costing the WP/JC? You have the right to know and I am sure all the tax payers would love to see where their money and some of what we have paid is being spent on!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
More news about A4e on Newsnight tonight, 10.30 PM.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-17476415

Could be explosive stuff if as Newsnight suggests, the leaked report claims widepread fraud within A4e. The govt has been backward in coming forward with regards to suspending A4e's current contracts. Indeed, they have been busy giving A4e new ones!!!

The govt have said that if 'systematic fraud' is found within A4e, then contracts will be terminated. We'll see!

There of course is NO GENUINE EQAULITY FOR MENTALLY ILL DISABLED, AGEISM ETC because of widespread discrimination.
One might as well take one's laptop in , do one's Two Hours then copp off.
It's a money making scam fo Big Business and no help for us.

  • At our expense once again.
We bear the costs for their careers. Very uneqaul and extremely unfair and not helpful in resolving the Worklessness problem especially with regard to CAREER Creation and not just jobs.
