I have just read the information sheet that i got from my provider last week and I notice that they can offer me a gym membership, so when i go in again tomorrow i may raise the subject with them as i do feel i need to lose a few stone to actually be fit enough to work. But like everything i think this maybe like peeing in the wind, as already has been advised that if i want to go on a FLT course i need to prove that i have experience of using them.0

Or is it so easy to pick on those with the lowest incomes that happen to come from the State?
The only people benefiting from the unemployed are the State, Workfare Industry and Big Business.:mad::mad::eek::eek:
I can't believe your attitude and that of other smug self righteous Benefits Bashers who I bet would LOVE to have the consequences on their doorstep of dismantling of the Welfare state.
Your bang on, cameron and smith and the rest of the clowns really would have all the unemployed and most of the current work force in the uk working for bowls of rice if they could, just look at the hourly rates of pay on offer.
A note to the people taking the self righteous moral high ground "what goes around can come around"0 -
I may send it to the local paper and have told them in my reply that they have not even read my letter as they are talking about something completely different.
I have told them I am posting it on the internet and will send my original letter to them every Tuesday till they reply to the questions. If in 4 weeks I have still no reply I will get my MP involved.
Try paxman at channel 4 news, he will rip them to shreds about it next time they start to hammer the total failure of the WP which should be quite soon. The guardian also have a big appetite for this slave programme.
That is one seriously embarrassing reply from a goverment department dealing with a scheme costing billions.0 -

Dear Sirs
I refer you to the letter I received today your ref XXXXXXXXXX
Please can you tell me why the reply is about benefits? You ramble on about issues relating to benefits and pensions but did you even read my email?
Why are you talking about something I have not asked about? You tell me to consult my office that is paying me benefit to find out what is available?
My email is about the Work Programme and if you all knew what it actually is & what I am doing on it? I have asked you what it can do for me with TWENTY YEARS accounts experience when XXXXXX have told me there is nothing that they can do for me as they do not get people like me on the Work Programme!
So I say again please READ the email below and answer the questions. I as a voter have the right to know the answers to some simple questions and you can not even do that.
I will send this email every Tuesday till you reply correctly to the questions I have asked. If in 4 weeks time I still have no sensible reply I will be contacting my MP.
I am disgusted at the reply I have to be honest but never expected anything more as NO ONE can answer a simple question. I am of course going to put this reply on the internet for other people on the Work Programme to see!
I want them to tell me what the WP is and what they actually think me and all of you lot should be doing on it as it was meant to be tailor made for each and every one od us. That reply is 100% proof they are just sending standard letters about benefits to everyone who challenges them and they are showing themselves up by doing that.
I want a letter so I can take it to my provider and say this is what the Gov say you are meant to be doing etc
This is also proof they actually have NO idea what is really happening to people who are on the WP!0 -
Try the Daily Mail, they love stories like this.0

You only go on the WP if you have been on JSA for a year (if you are over 24) The WRAG, as far as I know, simply means you will be called into the job centre every so often for an chat with an advisor about anything they can do to help you return to work. You won't be made to apply for jobs they are just wanting you to start looking into the possibility of you returning to work at some point.0 -
