I wish the powers that be would look at this thread and see that there are people out there who really want to work but for who the WP is nothing but a waste of everyones time and money

The powers that be don't give a toss, it's all just a way of handing over large swathes of cash to people who have donated to the Tories (IMO). A complete and utter joke of a programme. My advisor left too btw, along with everybody else that was in the office! Now there is a completely new quotient of staff, of which 3 of them just sit there chatting, I haven't figured out what they are doing.

This woman I have only seen twice which includes today as I have only had 3 appointments since AUGUST 2011!!!

I think it unlikely you would be sent on any placement in your circumstances of having a job & 3 kids, when your job may lead to more secure job.

I can't imagine you'd have to give up a job for a placement, doubt they can do that.

You can discuss things with WP provider who will review your circumstances.

Maybe ask jobcentre to defer your WP referral if that's what you want, as you already have a job which may lead to more secure job.

they probably wont have to give up the job for a placement but they would be expected to give it up if they were offered a full time job elsewhere.

well this is as i suspected and have been saying here. a company cant disclose info about someone who applies to them independantly from the provider.

No way would I want any potential employer swapping notes on me with the JobCentre or Ingeus, so praise be for the DPA.
