the advisor told me the work experience was so you wouldnt have gaps on your cv but you already have them dont you?

If the job centre have the same powers as the WP which is NONE they can not make a company interview you!!

This will be the same as the WP with less people running it!

i have seen stuff about this on facebook. weekly signing, forced to sign up to uj and allow them access and possibily even daily appointments with your adviser who will ensure you do all that they ask of you.
it will cost a fortune to run. i think one of the stories i saw said each jobcentre would have 5 advisers. wp providers have more than that and they can only manage to see people once a fortnight. i suspect they will target people they see as being wasters and largely leave everyone else alone.

well to be fair to mine they know i do everything that is required. i dont actually let them know i think they are rubbish. so they pointed out that they dont think i am one of these people who doesnt do much. still i dont like to think what they would be like if i was still with them in 6 months time.

I am doing ALL the WP ask of me so how will this be different?

The WP has failed a LOT of people and the JC are now just going to do the same thing the WP have been doing or pretending to do?

UJM will not get you a job

They have no space at my JC for even the signing points and I very much hope I will be left alone as they wont be able to help me unless a job on the UJM can be made by force to interview EVERYONE who meets the criteria regardless of being over qualified and they wont as they have no power and my singing on file is massive where I used to take in ALL email replies for jobs saying I was over qualified and even the ones on the DWP site - I said what can you do about this and they just shrugged their shoulders!

This will be the same. No one from a finance or accounts background no specialists in anything who wont be able to help anyone unless you are wearing a tracksuit and think more about the pub then getting a job and use F words in every sentence etc

it just sounds like it is designed to give people such a hardtime that they sign off.
