    No worries - this is "the best job they have ever had" (one of sofaspud's previous posts) but they couldn't ask the employer about holiday and leave entitlements. Perhaps just as well really, since if they speak to the employer about things like they speak to a bunch of strangers who are just trying to help, they won't last until June 2013 - the date they get protection against unfair dismissal. It's easy to be "brave" (or ignorant) on a board, but that deosn't mean it doesn't get remembered, and next time they may find that people are less willing to give them any help.
