I was there yesterday, they are on managers. They have lists at the tilll, and they mark down by those.
By the amount selling yesterday I wouldn't have thought there was much left today.
It didn't say anywhere it was managers reductions, nothing hardly at all left, I much prefer the smaller stores to that one.0 -
I went into colchester yesturday in my lunch break. There wasn't much there and it wasn't marked down properly so I took some stuff to the till that I liked and asked for the prices ended up with some cookie monster pjs for myself and a a new sports bra both for myself for £6 so very pleased with that. I was hoping to get some kids stuff but there was hardly anything and nothing in the sizes I wanted.0

They didn't have any signs up, but the staff at the tills were telling customers as they rang the items up. Being such a big store most items usually got the first morning of managers unfortunately.0 -
Nothing much left in Solihull, there were some large size 20, 22 mini skirts for £3 and few trousers downstairs.0

Swansea Oxford Street: top of the escalator on the first floor (Next side): ladies & kids stuff. About 5 racks but thinning fast when I was there at 9.30. Big/small sizes & little in between. Mini skirts, maroon party clothes seemed dominant. A table of odds & sods in battered boxes.
Other side of the shop on the edge of the underwear dept two rails of bras and some packs of thongs.
Upstairs there was a rail and some shelves of mens - again small or 48 waists. Shirts in 14.5 collars and some hats. Going fast.
Prices all over the place. but mostly £3 & £6. DH got trousers for £7.

Remember people have until 31st January to return items bought on 26th Dec (boxing day). M&S says that items are reduced initially at the start of the sale upto 50% off but, first reductions are usually less on most items therefore, being a true MSE, people should avoid buying just because of a sale sign. There is still a queue to return items at my M&S so you will get these at manager reductions - if your're lucky. I returned items bought boxing day as I found them cheaper in further reductions. Remember it's a fact M&S clothes are over priced new  (even taking into account markup's) and usually at second reductions are generally worth buying
.
Finally, M&S have sales regularly, probably another in Feb, so why should people buy at full price? I avoid the M&S between their sales but, the store is still not as bad as DFS and Dreams which seems to have permanent sales :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Final reductions on back wall of lingerie dept. non returnable but quite a few left this morning. HTHS:T0
