Must have got there not long after you left. There were indeed lots of books etc and some bedding was being brought out. The SA we spoke to told us that a lot of it would go through the tills at lower prices and indeed it did on most of the items

Got about 31 items for £174 which was over £1400 worth.

Leggings were scanning at £1, underwear (pants) to £1 and a few pieces of cashmere from £6-£12 each, gorgeous dresses etc reduced to £6 and were originally £100+. I've had a lovely day

Just been to metro centre (was going to Durham but thought I'd try MC instead). Loads still left, but NOT Manager's Reductions as of 9.30AM - I was gutted too as I'd seen a dozen things I'd have loved for myself (and the only time I treat myself is in the sale!)

There were a couple of women talking to SAs and then to a Manager, and the feedback was that it wasn't going ahead today??

I'll be ringing later this morning though just to see if things have changed as Sunderland, Durham, Darlington, Teesside Park have all gone "Managers"

Went into a store today and the lady was just scanning reduced things and telling me that was the price. I told her I bought exactly the same item yesterday for a lot cheaper and I told her that the other stores were using a list to downprice stock and she was trying to sell me something for £25/£35 which was actually £12. She seemed very put out by me telling her about the list.. She rang her manager and the manager confirmed they have to use the list to take things down. Things arnt always marked down properly on the tags either. I understand the staff arnt given enough time to do everything though.

Just phoned metrocentre and they've now gone Manager's - hope that helps - sad I've missed my bargains!!!

So how do you know the managers reductions are on then if they are not marked up as cheaper, or what price they will be?

Do they get extra stock in for these sales?
I went to a store between Xmas and New Year and they had very little sale stock left then. Wondering about making the journey (diff store) at lunchtime...

Just returned from castlepoint, quite a few items for sale mainly underwear and ladies got a few pairs of jeans from £1-£3 inc peruna also loads of jumpers inc all wool and cashmere ones from £7-£12
belts, scalves individual and sets £1, dresses from £7, trackies from £5. trousers from £3
These all went down today as sales assistant stated they had to reduce price it all late last night.
Hope this helps someone as usually this store is later than the others for final reductions.

More stuff being put out as I left, go on grab yourself a bargain .

Went to Bromley this morning at 9am, nothing worthwhile in ladies or men's but loads of kids left. I got over £200 for £38. I also used my £5 off voucher but SA didn't want to accept it I had to insist!
People were literately filling trollies with stuff and it was going very fast
