Swansea Fforestfach - lots of kids clothes left at 6pm this evening, quite a lot of ladies' clothes too but next to nothing of the mens' reductions - certainly no suits etc. A pile of broken boxes of household stuff & loads of 25p Christmas cards.
My best item was a £35 wool cardigan for £6 & 2 £25 nighties for £3 each.
Trostre had plenty of kids clothes this morning but hardly any ladies and men's (that was 9am). They also had signs up whereas Fach seemed to have stickered everything with the manager's reduction which must have taken them hours. No wonder SA looked stressed!0 -

Hardly anything at all:mad:, just managed to pick 2 dresses for £6 each and a pair of jeans £3
everything else literally gone

Does anyone know if they would allow me to return something and buy it back straightaway?0

Nope, the SAs aren't allowed to, against M&S policy. Fair enough really, otherwise everyone would buy what they want on the first day of the sale then take it all back and buy again when it was on managers reductions.
Exactly; the point of a sale is to get rid of stock that hasn't sold, so why would a shop agree to reduce something further when you've already been prepared to buy it for a higher price?!
Bath store had quite a lot left this afternoon, all split into size rails with around about 2 rails for each size and a couple of rails of menswear. Didn't look at kidswear. Home things seemed to be same price as last week. Couple of shelves of womens shoes downstairs and quite a lot of hats & scarves.0 -
anyone been to lakeside m&s? Anything left?
Small selection of items, not much left for mens, two chaps bought most of the stuff to sell on (I was a bit nosey and asked) they took about 20 minutes to go through the till!!!
There was a bit more in the ladies selection, when I walked past, but not much in the way of gifts / houseware unless you like blue cushions....0 -

I have been to Markies at Stockton retail park today, when I arrived there were quite a few rails of manager reductions, tops and jumpers were reduced to £6. But while I was there a man and two women literally scooped up as much as they could and filled a shopping trolley, leaving not alot. However there was a rack inside the changing room that the sales assistant was marking down, so might be worth popping in, there was also a very small rail of mens stuff reduced up stairs. If you go up the escaloter and look in the very far left had corner where suit jackets were from £120 down to £15 with matching trousers down from £79 to £12
Wasn't much worth having in terms of clothes for us when we went at about 6:30. As expected it had all been picked over earlier but if you are small or big there is still some stuff left. The small rail of mens stuff was still there but nothing of interest for us. Did pick up a few books, games and kitchenwares at good prices. It was much less busy than I had expected.Awaiting a new sig0
