I was at Warrington Gemini this morning at 9.30 as had feeling it would be managers today. I bought 43 things!! Only spent £122 though for about £2000 worth of stuff. I end up buying for my mum and sister as well as my own family. The SA said she was going to strangle me with all of the stuff but she was only joking!! Lots left there when I left at about 11.30am.

I got a trolley full, but the SA was OK. I think she wasn't impressed, but she was polite to me and didn't make any nasty comments.
  • anyone been in lincoln...is it worth a trip tomorrow? x

  • Went to Owlcoates Centre at Pudsey, Leeds!

People were going crazy with trolleys full of stuff. Sadly not much home stuff left that I wanted but managed to get some bargins on lampshades for £3 and a table lamp for £6.

    Also got

    Dresses £6
    Bras £3
    Shoes £6
    Knickers £1
    Tops £3
    Knitwear cardi £6

Things were going fast, I doubt there will be much left by tomorrow! Great Bargins though spend a total for £35 for about £250 of stuff. Woohooo!!!

Durham was quite good this morning (see my previous post). I've Just got back from Teesside Park, picked up a few bits but not much left. SAs were putting out rows of books, toys, etc, but they said that they would not be reduced further so there were still quite a lot of those left!!!

Metrocentre had lots in, but not Manager's reductions, still only final. SA there knew that Newcastle had gone to managers, but didn't know when Metrocentre would be.

    Hope that helps.

Back into Durham before work tomorrow to see if anything else has been put out.

I've done about 120 miles today - lol!!!

Does anyone know if they would allow me to return something and buy it back straightaway?

wow is it worth it with the price of petrol?

I thought this was the managers' reductions as they are saying you cannot return any of the stuff now??

He he - was out and about anyway so just called in at the M&S's whilst on my way to various places - no extra diesel needed - thankfully - or I'd have been out of pocket - lol!!!

usually they don't let you buy stuff when you return it as they have to "process" it (ie hang it up and reprice it) always worth asking though - policies may have changed.

Going to ring metro centre and see if they're giving anything away about when they're going to "managers".
