I spoke too soon. The delivery estimate for my entire order bar one item has now changed to 18th January.Remaining item 28th February:rotfl:. Account still says dispatching soon, Oh Marks, when will I learn - and just be honest - you haven't got the stuff so cancel for goodness sakes.

No good reductions in store, lots of "Final Reductions" signs around but no more reductions on the items I wanted.
I did take several items to the till to check and still the same price as a week ago and these were Christmas stock, sales assistants were also confused and were saying clothing/shoes etc were non returnable but were not putting the red dot on the bar code as in previous sales.

Not worth a trip out especially in my opinion.

I popped into my local M&S today. There are some final reducations on some items but nothing great. This store still has alot of sales clothing so I cant image the managers reductions happening yet??

Please let us know on this thread if you see or know when stores might start there managers reductions, thank you! :-)

My entire order of 25 different items that was due for delivery tomorrow has just been cancelled. Shocking - might even understand if it was a few items, but everything?

Here we go... order due for delivery tomorrow, STILL not been dispatched - but had another email saying 4 items out of stock (in addition to the one they emailed about the other day). I'm furious - they were all showing as in stock when I ordered (2nd Jan). I don't understand why they waited so long to ship them. :mad:

I had ordered 1st Jan, had 1 item oos email on 7/1 and another 2 items oos email on 8/1 so i cancelled remainder of the order and sent an email suggesting they updated their system as all items were in stock at time of ordering and in the susequent few days after placing the order. This is part of the reply i got from them:-


"The availability of these items were affected as it was the sale period and many people would have placed similar orders at a similar time. All feedback is useful and I'd like to thank you for your email as customer contact is the only way we can improve our system"


Well other websites run sales and they dont seem to have these problems

From what I've read on here it sounds like they had the same problems last year - shame the customer feedback at the time didn't help them to improve their system for this year! :mad:

I don't accept their explanation anyway. If the system can tell you when there's 1 or 2 skirts (for example) left in stock, I don't see why it can't work on sale items. Also, none of this explains why it takes them over a week to send the order out???? Not at all impressed with them.
