M&S Sale *update* further reductions now

Just got my email 3 items due for delivery now out of stock, not sure whats happening to the rest now, as it states delivery for the 12th- all were showing as in stock when I ordered :mad:

WOW their ordering system is going downhill then! When they did the 50% off toys and beauty / home items before Christmas I got EVERYTHING I ordered , fortunately! ... But then again some of the stuff is 'still there' from before Christmas and much cheaper of course so it looks like the heavily reduced items are going OOS 'after' they are ordered even , not worth it to pay the postage on top then if only a couple of items turn up & thats if you're lucky by the look of it?

So nothing worth having instore and nothing REALLY in stock online , so not impressed and not fair there has been SO much disappointment caused and they don't even seem sorry AT ALL!!!

Wow. So glad I decided against ordering a few bits and pieces from the sale. How shoddy, M & S are supposed to be a quality business, their adverts on TV scream supposed decadence, yet they can't even be bothered to develop a working stock system for the consumers buying into this image! Why have online sales at all, if they know they're going to be continually letting down their customers?! Bizarre.

I don't accept their explanation anyway. If the system can tell you when there's 1 or 2 skirts (for example) left in stock, I don't see why it can't work on sale items. Also, none of this explains why it takes them over a week to send the order out???? Not at all impressed with them.

This has happened for at least the last 2 years.When you order on line you just donnt get to excited because its very rarely you get your complete order.

In store.....No cheap cheap cashmere this year also some things still not reduced any more than last monday. Was told I could not take things back and had to be sure I was going to keep them, before buying.

Did anyone order A Christmas Carol 4 disc combo pack (3D blu ray, blu-ray, DVD, digital copy)? My mum did and received only the normal double play (blu-ray & DVD). She's received a refund of the cost of the item but just wondered if anyone else was the same. She also had issues with items being cancelled, order not arriving when it was meant to etc etc so nothing new there eh?

I was also told I couldn't take stuff back. This was Birmingham - I always thought it was just Manager;s reductions that were non returnable.
