I haven't done this but it seems you can redeem your Tesco clubcard points for double the value in 'iwantoneofthose.com' vouchers and use them to purchase an ipad. So if you happen to have £200 of Tesco vouchers you could get a new ipad on wifi only for hal price!0

Does anyone know the ecoupon code fro getting the £10 off the ipad 2 at Tesco? This was mentioned on the main MoneySavingExpert site. No sign of the ecoupon on Tesco direct,
Thanks0 -

On the Tesco website you can only use one voucher at a time. So the maximum you can save with Tesco vouchers is £40.VeeTheVillain wrote: »Does anyone know the ecoupon code fro getting the £10 off the ipad 2 at Tesco? Hi,
just a note to say that the wifi only iPad doesn't have full GPS so you might want to make it clear in the article that there is more than just a connectivity difference between the wifi-only and the 3G versions. The latter is needed if you people want to use any apps that require automatic location. e.g. mapping, navigation, looking at the night sky etc.

If you would like a cheap pay & go micro sim with 3GB lasting 3 months for £7.99, here's how...
- Three offer an iPad micro sim (pay & go) for £20.49. It's topped up with 3GB and lasts for 3 months.
- If you purchase via Quidco, you'll get £12.50 cashback.
- If you get the cashback, the sim works out to only £7.99, so only around £2.66 for 1GB of data - compare that to O2's 1GB for £10.21!
I'm using that sim card on the 'new iPad' (third gen), and with 4/5 bars of signal at home, I'm getting speeds of around 17Mbps! Faster than the home broadband from TalkTalk - speeds of around 8-9Mbps, and you can also tether the iPad to computers if you wish (at no extra cost of course as it's a pay & go sim).
The only thing with Three is that if you are in any kind of rural area, the signal is poor, or varies - if I'm sitting in my bedroom, I only get 1/5 bars, if I'm in the back garden, I get around 4/5 bars. Great network otherwise if you're in bigger areas.0 -
As mifi units has been mentioned on this thread. I just wanted to say I picked up a (brand new) 3 one off ebay for £40. Cost me 9.99 for a test sim with 1gb data for 30 days.
I used it to go from Scotland down to just over the Welsh border, via Motorways etc. Obviously didn't leave it connected constantly, battery wouldn't have taken that, took us 10 hrs to get to Midlands aloneBUT I had great connection/3G along the whole way (when i wanted it) and no issues connecting it to the iPad2 (wifi) at all.
Now that I know it works (was testing it to make sure it worked properly with that sim) I will seek out a better deal/get it unlocked.
I could've tethered on my phone, but I consistently noticed I rarely get 3G on my phone (voda) so glad I took this along. It's quite wee, so easy to throw in a bag/handbag, and charged quickly.0
