Bit complicated in that the flats shared ownership. Dad owns 40% and pays rent on the remaining 60%0 -
Ownership doesn't matter. Anybody can put an invoice on someones windscreen asking for a donation.0

i thought it was a minor number of pensioners taking a disliking to a unknown vehicles outside their home or residential parking, but what i seen today made me laugh, old lady walks down the road infront of my car theres a BMW X5, for no reason she grabbed the wing mirror yanking it off setting the alarm off and carried on like nothing happened! the owner was in the chip shop the car was parked opposite and the owner seen it all, coming out screeming !!!!!! you stupid woman looked at me and said did you see that chuckling i said yeh, gets on foot after the woman on a mobile at same time.0

Its not just the oldies. People diagonally across the road from me don't like anybody but them parking in front of their house. They even shouted at me at 7.30 one morning when a friend was picking me up and all we were doing was loading the car and leaving within minutes. Strange behaviour!0

So's mine and it doesn't change it. It's 40% his, 60% HA and 0% miserable old biddy who thinks it's his.0 -
What reason did the management company give for not marking the spaces? Seems a bit ridiculous if there is a free for all and yet spaces are allocated in the Deeds. Id definitely turn up at the next management meeting and ask in person.0

mine are ok, we don't have masses of parking and everybody has at least one car but nobody complains. I've got 1 parking space and in October I had 3 cars, but as my next door neighbour parks at the front of the house I've stolen her space as well. If she needs it then I'll just park somewhere else; nobody complained when we were dismantling a car either... Think i just got lucky.0 -

Never ceases to amaze how people think they own the public road outside their house.0 -
An old guy keyed my hubby's car on every single panel. We had no idea who'd done it initially because it occurred in a leisure centre car park, but he was caught red-handed on CCTV, which was handed over to the police. We were shocked when it was shown to us, because it was someone we knew. He apologised and said he didn't know it was our car (like that made it OK!). He accepted a caution from the police, and paid almost a thousand pounds to get the car repaired.
My in-laws are funny about people parking on the road outside their house, despite them parking both of their cars on the drive, and the road being wide with space for about 8 cars in front of their house. They go mad about the one car that their neighbour sometimes parks there. Weird.0 -
buy a keyfob cam the video is very good for its size and these can be bought for around £10 inc p&p
(This can be placed inside the car and left running)
