You know the type, it doesn't affect them but they get annoying by "rule breakers" anyway.0 -
I live in a street with a lot of elderly neighbours.
My ex lodger used to park her car outside oneof their bungalows. It was on the road, now restrictions, andthe house in question had space on their drive for at least 4 cars.
The owner was always putting notes on the car asking for it to not be parked there and even took to covering it in silly string one night! lol0 -

aye i know the ones but a 'so why aren't you parked in it you silly old buzzard', should confuse him for a while.0 -
Sorry to ask an obvious question but just wanted to ask, are you able/allowed to mark the flat number on the space yourself? and/or fit a bollard?
I mean surely if it's your Dad's space as part of the deeds?0 -

park up and keep a good eye on the car, if you see anyone damage it, race out, place your hands upon the person and inform them they are under arrest as you have witnessed them committing an act of criminal nature and they are now in your custody until an officer of the law can take custody of them.
Hold them, call the police.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

I doubt it. The allocation of spaces is crazy - Dads space is nowhere near his flats - its actually outside someone elses window.
And no they wont let anyone mark it.0 -
if it's his spot thats in his deeds, get a PPC to look after it. A couple of tickets and a clamp and you're laughing0

They don't actually own it and as long as there is nothing in the deeds preventing it, he can do !!!!!! he wants with it. Personally I'd put in a metal post with a padlock so you can remove it when you want to park. I'd be inclined to do it when someone unauthorised has parked in it too0
