Actually that was my husband posting but using my profile.... I do not go out... Do you actually know what is like to be agoraphobic???
Hmm...
I'm going to hazzard a guess that this was also your husband using your account and you stayed home whilst hubby went on holidayDoes anyone have a spare code for today please. Just got back from hols and forgot to buy paper... many thanks
This was also your husband and the 'we' definitely didn't mean you and your husband.went into our local one this morning.
We were looking for another water butt for our garden,
It's interesting when people state 'it wasn't me using the account at the time'. Why deceive others who think it is you posting, if it really was your husband?
Be honest with yourself. You could go to the medical assessment. There are plenty of occassions on here where you have been outdoors, when it suits.
I imagine agoraphobia is an awful illness to have, but not everyone with agoraphobia will be houseboundas there are varying degrees.
I, personally, do not doubt that you have agoraphobia, but I don't buy the claim that it was your husband using the account all the times the posts mention going outdoors.
In any event, that is irrelevant. The important thing is that you sort out the medical. See if you can change the appointment time again. If not, I'm sure your teenager could look after the younger child for a couple of hours so that you can get this over and done with.
Good luck.Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.0 -
At some near date-point welshsue will come to realise that the time wasted in the attempted circumvention of the 'cattle prod' called ATOS / LiMA / WCA, and migration to ESA would have been best served [ see the #8 comment ] by asking people here .. .. how to best 'deal with it' when you s/he does attend.
The effect of migration
If you are found to have a limited capability for work in this assessment, you will be moved (migrated) onto ESA but of those found fit for work the Government expects that:
50% will move onto jobseekers allowance.
20% will move on to another benefit (e.g. income support, carers allowance or re-claim ESA)
30% will move off benefits altogether.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I try to be an even-handed poster and accept that you at times may not agree with these opinions or how I choose to express them, this is not my problem. There is only one way I know of to avoid a ATOS assessment (when they demand one) and still claim, but as it involves no longer receiving any medical care from anyone, I wont go into further details, in case someone is mad enough to actually try it. Especially as its not 100 percent certain to work.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
[/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -

No, you can't be sure, can you?As surely as night follows day capitalism will come crumbling down. On a mission to secure a just and ethical society.0 -
no but looks pretty obvious
and it annoys me when i hear of people on here or are so ill in one way or another and they cannot get dla and are also told they need to find a job when there are certain people who claim everything going and then live a life of luxury going on holidays ,shopping for latest kids toys.
and beside prob being a benefit scrounger the op also gets some one who actually works for a living in trouble.
what a nasty piece of work.0 -

had to go through the posts for myself. welsh sue, you say you cannot go out, you say you have such a bad back that you use have to use crutches, but yet your posts show a very different person.
please dont slate me for posting these, but make up your own minds. she says she cannot go to the medical centre. has a blue badge . yet obvious from posts that she is an avid gardener, and on the photos posted on earlier posts there are no raised beds, so she is perfectly capable of bending downn to do the planting. read for yourself.;
QUOTE=welshsue;44995052]I live in Powys, wales. I only need to use the blue badge in car parks, not clock. Not sure about double yellow lines, will have to check on that one. There are no time limits on disabled bays.[/QUOTE]

Tesco toilet tissue buy 2 & get 5p off fuel!!
Driving past Tesco's this morning Banner outside saying 5p off Fuel if you buy 2 packs Tesco Toilet Tissue!!!! Hubby said no you must have read that wrong, but sure enough if you buy 2 x Tesco Luxury Soft White Toilet Tissue(9pack). Total 7.98 you get a 5p off a Litre voucher
you are adamant that you do not go out.
We had a similar thing. Not our fault, mis information from the job centre caused us to receive an overpayment. Interviewed under caution, went to court and paying it back. I went for a job at a local special needs school and told the bursar about this at the interview, she said it was nothing that the school would be concerned about and would not affect the job, which I got.
Yoi are adamanet that you do not go out, andIf you say this is your husbands job then why are you saying that he is with you 24/7 as your carer and for which you are claiming that you need middle rate care? if it is you, you are adamant that you do not go out. so either way this just does not add up.
went into our Focus this morning (Newtown, Powys), not many reductions yet. Mainly 10-30% off a variety of things. got some plants and garden things.
Talking to a member of staff, none of the welsh stores have been purchased so will all close once all the stock has been sold. Very sad, especially as we would have to drive 40miles each way to our nearest DIY superstore. The lady I was talking to has been there years and was almost in tears.
You are adamant that you do not go out.
we went to our local Focus on Monday and bought 8 25k bags of winter grit (4 for us and 4 for neighbour), not cheap £7.00 per bag but we were fighting over the last 8 bags with another customer. That was the last in store and they didn't know when they would get anymore. I live in rural mid wales and we have no salt bins around here, left to grit ourselves out of our own pockets.
You are adamant that you do not go out.
have noticed that when i drive to my local PO and park outside a row of Houses the remote central locking stops working. I assume that one of the Houses has something that is interfering/jamming the remote signal. Is their anybody i can report this to?
You are adamant that you do not go out.
I have gum inflammation and the dentist has said I have gingivitis therefore need to see the hygienist for this... I had a feeling I shouldn't be paying.. will have to see what I can do. I was lucky to get this dentist on the NHS, this was the only one in my area of wales taking on NHS patients when I joined them a year ago. No choice with who I use unless I go private.
You are adamant that you do not go out.
Dental treatment on Income Support
I currently receive free dental treatment as I am on Income support and various other disability benefits.
My query relates to teeth polishing and cleaning. The last time I went to the dentist she said I needed a clean but she no longer did this and I would have to see the dental hygienist and they would charge me for this. Apparantly even though I get free treatment I still have to pay for the hygienist.
You are adamant that you do not go out.
Does anyone else know about this please. I'm sure in the past my dentist always used to do the clean and polish as part of the check up. Now it seems, its a quick 5 min check and a way of getting you to pay when you should not have to.
You are adamant that you do not go out.
We are lucky to have a fairly large garden where we live. I have only just got into growing my own veg this year so have a small veg patch at the moment. Hubby just finished yesterday putting up the new greenhouse be bought for me. I have 2 children, the youngest of which starts school full time in september so I am hoping to turn more of the garden over to veggies. At the moment he is out in the garden a lot during the day and things would be wrecked by footballs etc.
If you are gardening and growing your own veg on a veg patch on the floor then isnt much wrong with your back!
ell done on getting your first smear out of the way. I know they can be very daunting and you feel embarrassed but I would rather get them done than have a nasty illness that wasn't detected.
I am now 41 so have been through numerous smears as well as having had 2 children so very used to someone messing around down there... The only thing I have to worry about now when I go is getting cramp in my legs... yes it happened at my last smear a few weeks ago and the poor nurse doing the smear nearly got knocked flying and the equipment went with her as I tried to straighten my leg and get rid of the cramp.... Luckily I know the nurse well as have been seeing her for vaccinations etc for the last 5 years and we both had a good laugh about it.
getting a bit boring now....did she come to yours or is it your hubby posting again...........:(
My 2 tree peony's just arrived this morning. Both look very healthy with lots of shoots. Just got to wait for it to stop raining now so I can plant out..
This is obviously an avid gardener with such a bad back that she uses crutches and needs middle rate care and a blue badge.
GO TO YOUR DARNED MEDICAL........THEN WITH A BIT OF LUCK THEY WILL SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOU....Then Atos will inform dwp and your dla will be stopped. is that the real reason you are trying to get out of going, because you know that you are going to fail?
Its an insult to people who are actually sufering so badly with their mental health/ physical disabilities who would love to get out, or do a bit of gardening!!0 -
