Hi,
I am looking for a little help with a friends LSG Insurance through 3 mobile. It has taken now 8 weeks to get a replacement battery after incurring water damage (which was the persons fault) and the advertised turnaround is 48 hours. In this instance she has been without her phone, paying for the insurance and is going to have to purchase a battery which they are paying the money into her account to purchase.
If anyone knows of which aspect to quote when dealing with such terrible customer serives it would be greatly appreciated. They have failed to keep to their agreement.

I have the same insurance through Barclays and they were quite swift when arranging a replacement phone after mine was stolen.
Has your friend looked at the policy wording in detail to be sure that LSG has failed to deliver within specified time scales?0 -
Hi , all u have to do is just lie . I was honest and they refuse my claim. Let me tell u why u have to lie
. My brother past away a month ago and when I was doing some funeral shopping I lost my phone ( maybe stolen I dont know).because of the situation I was in I was able (state of mind depressed ) to let them know about the phone . I only inform the telephone company so they can block the sim ( 3 uk other bunch of thieves )so a couple of day ago I contacted them (lsg insurence) and told them the truth , I mean that the phone was in my front pocket in my jeans and that It was Gone and why I didant let them know . This guy start asking me 1000 question about my cloting , and what I was wearing on the day. I didn't pay atention to much maybe because I am still a bit not there ( depresed). So in the end they told that my claim was rejected only because the phone Wasn't In My Jacket were they this is more secure. I made another appeal but same result . So now a have a phone line contrat of £40 with no handset . So I ask them why they are doing this , I payd my bill and I was honest , and they replay was that does it matter .so the best thing to do is just lie and lie again. Tell them that the handset was securet in jacket wich was locked whit a zipper and a lock pad
and that it . Don't do the same mistake like I did . The LSG Insurence they are pathetic starting from the basic customer service agent to their management team. Only purpuse is to robb you take you money and they will do that if u don't listen to my advice good luck.

Not sure advising people to commit insurance fraud is a brilliant idea.
Op, just give them a call and level with them, if there is a guaranteed service level they have clearly failed. Ask them to put it right.0 -
Well wouldnt be to read your terms and conditions be a better idea before you get the insurance. Plus if you have got the insurance though a bank and are paying for a package account, only a small amount of this goes to the insurance.0
