Lovely to see so many people joining this thread, really hope we all stick it out and keep posting as support is what I need
I weighed myself this morning and weigh the same as I have done most the year lol. Not great in terms of weight loss but as I haven't been trying I was expecting an increase.
I will be weighing in on the 1st and that will be my starting weight. I am also giving up smoking on that day so please be prepared for my grumpiness haha.
Anyone else giving up smoking?Debt free in 2012 - #117 £1454.73/£10813.210 -
Good luck with stopping smoking PurpleRuby!
I gave up 16 months ago and i LOVE being a non-smoker! Are you using anything like NRT etc, or going cold turkey?0 -
I wasn't sure what to do. I am going to attempt cold turkey from the 1st and if I struggle I will contact the doctors and look to get patches on perscription. Apparently I can have two week of patches for one perscription if I go to the cessation clinic.Debt free in 2012 - #117 £1454.73/£10813.210

Hello Dolly Rocker.
I have just spotted the link to this challenge on another thread and would love to join if I may.
Ideally I need to lose 2 stone which I would love to pass off as baby weight except after the birth I was lighter than beofre. I was very good and healthy. Unfortunately I now seem to be living on a diet of Bourbon Creams.
Hopefully I will lose 1lb this afternoon as all my old long hair is being chopped.:rotfl:
Thanks for starting the thread.
